oh man, i was really enjoying that until they accidently mixed in the click track, or was it the tapping of one of those drumming monkey toys? still didnt mind it though until the singing started. sounds like a child trying to scare another child with a flashlight and a scary voice. death metal singing is the sonic embodiment of Poe's law — impossible to tell a parody of it from the thing itself.

but then, i like stuff like this:

People worry that computers will get too smart and take over the world, but the real problem is that they’re too stupid and they already have.

there are many beautiful things in this world that may seem alien to us at first, but after a while all you notice is the beauty.

Those pinball machines are way too close to each other.  But yeah, I'd be too busy playing with the girls to worry about it.

Not sure when this was recorded - I'm guessing mid 1990s.  Seems he's got another upcoming concert in Madison Square Gardens and I imagine he's performed there plenty of times so a search didn't help much.

ed - another video that looks to be from the same concert says 1999.

If you watch that one then may as well watch this one too:

Prettywell all of her songs are what you'd expect a 12 year old to be listening to and don't appeal to me at all.

But this one, it aint tea bag... pretty catchy tune and lyrics that almost make sense.

Hmm,

Was a bit tragic, but you go when you go I guess.

Had an odd day of listening - best of Pentangle, like folk, right now best Of Pink, never heard it before, pretty ok, bit of a genre shift though:)

Cheers

and if you recognise that as genius, have a listen to his own composition "passionflower" too, and also his outrageously talented cover of chaka khan's "ain't nobody"

Pretty good covers...

More impressed by the GnR one.  Got the lyrics wrong twice before the first chorus in the first.  Also like the second girl's voice better.

Either way, the one guy playing lead, bass, and drums is the more impressive bit to me, since I can't manage even one instrument.

I think "American ties" instead of "thighs" was deliberate - otherwise makes it seem a bit lesbo.
