lol
Weve had seriously shit weather up here for frikkin MONTHS.
Just Tuesday gone I "e-biked" to work which involves riding down next to the river (North to south). It's a Flood plain but it's usually only about 2 inches deep over a tarmacked cycleway...
So when I was confronted with.... A Lake I put my feet up on the rack and used electric to ride through.
Only it was a tad deeper that 2 inches... More like a metre deep.. I was making a bow wave.
And then..... The motor shorted... Baaaaaaaastarrrrrrrd !

So I had to pedal through and obviously my legs were saturated. Only a 9 hour shift to squidge my way through !!

Well, today (finally) the Sun has got his hat on, Hip hip hip hooray etc !!
And the peoples have gone all smiley again, Even the 78 year old pensioner that despatched the burglar just had all charges dropped !

Going for some 80's nostalgia and came across some KC & The Sunshine Band, I'd add in Devo's Whip IT and Men Without Hats Safety Dance but the rabbit hole that is youtube may take me in another direction :)

Devo... they had/have a huge following for what was about a 3 hit wonder band (other 2 being Freedom of Choice and Beautiful World).

Pretty good song actually.  I remember them being pretty prominent around the same time as Adam and the Ants (never particularly liked them but Devo were OK).

Seen a few of those - given the simplicity of the molecule, though not necessarily of the process to make the stuff, sort of surprising it's taken so long.

If the cost can be brought down and it performs as touted then it'll be great, you could almost build an entire house from the stuff.

err... second look, wrong thread, should be in "What did you watch lately?"

New Janelle Monae album is nice, but apart from the pre-released singles, I'm left a little disappointed not at it being bad, but that it's not all so amazing as some of the songs.

Without cheating by going out and doing research... what do these 2 songs have in common (clue - ties between these bands or subsequent covers isn't the answer).

Most mis-heard song lyrics?  Dunno what the first would be, but "amber lamps" is famous.

"There is no "I" in team." - "True.  I will not be found in any team."
