You're quite correct and I have seen and read them all but was hoping for a few more mobo's from ASUS and as for Gigabyte what the... not including onboard video on the boards that are mid range and have all the features I want.

^^ agree on the Anandtech review. I think SSD caching has kinda snuck underneath most enthusiast's radars . Largely Intel's fault for not promoting it, but it's a big benefit nonetheless.
As SSD drives become larger and more eccomomical the SSD caching will become obsolete, the only long term benifit of the Z68 boards is the fact that if you need to opperate your PC without a dedicated graphics card you may, but that would only be a solution if you are having your GPU repaired.
SSD caching is a gymic and most people have realised that its not worth the upgrade for that reason alone when they can simply just upgrade to a larger and faster SSD anf have their system run off that.

i need at least a 500g ssd to fit my currently played games\os on and i dont want to pay over $350 for it so for me z68 caching is a very real option since i could get a 3tb install at near ssd speeds on repeat data use^^ agree on the Anandtech review. as a 60g sata3 ssd is only $135 vs ~1k for 480g it seems like good value and it will take a few years yet for ssd to reach aceptable size\price
