Buzzing from speakers

Hi guys, I'm getting a fair bit of buzzing from my speakers. I've identified that the source of the buzzing is my laptop as a result of it's power cable, as when I plug it into other devices or unplugged, the buzz is gone. I was just wondering how to get rid of the buzz entirely. Cheers!

I had a buzz on my Logitech X-530 speakers a while ago. Changed it to its own power socket (no power boards) and the buzz disappeared... there was interference from something else on the board. Not sure if this will be helpful to you, but based on your description it's worth a shot?

Hit it with the old pea-beu :p Or maybe your power supply for the laptop is becoming faulty ? Most likely wont matter but have you updated your sound drivers recently ? If so roll them back, if not update them and see what happens.

You could install a capacitor across the power cable, to smooth things out a bit. But if you don't know much about electrickery, you'll just fry it.
