So. Now that it's stated that vinegar can kill nasty bacteria, just watch the price of it inflate.

China might stop buying US junk ... sorry debt/bonds
If China really wanted to fuck the US, all they need to do is call in their loans.
... And then the entire myth we call money falls to pieces...

Yes. You don't think that would do it?

You can blame Nixon decoupling the US dollar from gold. Just so the USA can print money like no tomorrow.

Hmm,
I suppose Nixon did not help but the money myth was evaporating before then.

Pretty much when the Gold standard was dropped but the current system allows the fed to print trillions in worthless fiat without accountability.
Got change for this?

Hyperinflation has always been a thing, gold standard or not. It's even been weaponised.
But, yes, the current US system is utterly barmy.

All depends on how much ;)
OMM ...
today, this week, I'm thoroughly over children, and parents who think it fine for kids to behave like kids when inside, just because this current inside is not owned by the parents :\

Be quicker to drive to NSW myself and collect the package.
Is the service getting worse now?

You are not a parent Ev - kids will be kids - I "kid-proofed" my homes years ago as my pair and then the nieces and nephews came to visit.
Going to have to do it again when we move, new grandchild :)

Australia Post and the Express Parcel Service.

ever since the delivery people got pegged for leaving "you weren't at home when we called" notes instead of actually knocking on the door, the whole process takes more time
so i see it as a mixed blessing, because i get things maybe a day late, but i don't have to line up at the local auspost with my ticket

100% concordance
kids behaving like kids frequently has very little to do with parents, and mostly to do with kids
parents stating "kids will be kids" have obviously been worn down by the reality that in spite of discipline, children have the attention span of gnats, and thus forget to behave, or they are contrarian, and need to provoke a display of limit confirmation
any child who always behaves perfectly will probably grow up to be an ocd serial killer

In this instance, I'm not talking about a private home . ... and to a certain degree I agree with both of you. If the space of my issue this week, had been properly thought out and designed with due care and consideration by the architects and owners, then I daresay I would not
be coming to the end of my week wishing for adults to be muzzled and children to be both muzzled and restrained from riding scooters inside.
As for the underlined I have a feeling I should take some offence as I don't recall being a serial killer ... yet. It wasn't that I was a perfect child, it was that I knew footballs and scooters and catchy were games played outside.

so no offence to be taken... you already concede to a lack of "perfection"
some kids are better behaved than others; those that never misbehave have something unnatural going on

but but that implies that kids that do misbehave are natural.

My father once said the way to raise kids was leave a week before they are born and come back 16 years later - he didn't do it of course, nor did I, but they can be trying..
Given the maniac I was at 16 he might have wanted to add a decade on to that :)
Cheers
