Tigers sacked Jason Taylor.

Got to say, about time.  He's presided over a slide of form not to mention issues getting on with key players to the point where some just didn't want to be part of the club while he was around.

JT is a strange one. I tend to still think he Could make a good coach, but I guess I'm basing that more on 'feel' than anything in his career so far

Friggen ridiculous - 842 Meg worth of download for a raw digital camera update to MacOS.  Not so long ago that'd have been an entire operating system installer.

But that'll be next up, and be about a 6 Gig download.

err... so OK, now it's finished there was in fact iTunes and another one piggybacked, which explains the bloat a bit.

WOMM?

If this bloody cat trips me up one more time...

Did so again this am when I was half asleep - sore rib as a result, not broken but damned sore...

She's very old and somewhat demented but I'm getting tired of falling over her...

Cheers

The Nationals MP for Dubbo reported himself to the police after taking a photo of a sheep in the boot of a nearby car while stopped at roadworks at the weekend.

He was stopped at the time though... I'd be more worried about that part in bold, someone's got a fetish that needs looking at there.

12 hour power outage.

That's one of the longest I can remember.  Had heavy rain for about an hour then a tree or two nearby decided to take a closer look at the power lines.

It proves no such thing.

What he did was simply silly.  He was stopped at a road construction sight when he saw a car with a sheep in the boot.  He wanted to get a pic of someone else who was breaking the law and putting an animal's life in danger.

Yes he stuffed up but he was not putting anyone else in danger.

Of course it doesn't mean he does know anything about his portfolio either :)

I guess you don't have a lot to do with cats Ev - not a question of my eyes, this aged hellion delights in ambushing humans, not just me, anyone who is around. I've had cats all my life but never one like this before.

Cheers

I don't carry a laptop when I travel very much outside Australia, I've had two cracked screens over the years from my bags being put in an un-pressurized hold despite telling them it needed to go in with the pets.

To be fair on both occasions the airlines paid up for repairs but it's more the inconvenience really. These days I just take a stick and some disks, it's never difficult to find a computer to borrow for a period at my destinations.

Cheers

He's sitting in a car in the driver's seat with the engine running ... what's not to know ?

IMHO. The splitting straws ( of the  car not actually on the move ) is the type of thinking that gets a lot of drivers in real strife.

Don't blame the cat cos you walk around in your own familiar surrounds with your eyes half open. ffs the cat is not new, you should be on full alert the moment

you leave your bed.  :)

I don't get how packing the lappy in your luggage makes the journey any safer. The thing still travels with you ...

... Oh, and , Chivalry is not dead !

Did my fuel and air tonight. Being the end of a reaally tediously long day, I fumbled a bit with the second tyre to fill. Unbeknownst to me,

there was a bloke sitting having his dinner in the cabin of his delivery truck. I must have looked bloody hopeless. Cos he stepped out

and approached me. Not too close, didn't want to get in my space and just as likely ready to make an easy get away if I told him to get lost ;)

I didn't of course. I explained butter fingers / longday, and thanked him for his care.

Been a while since a stranger has offered to help me like that. That bloke has good karma
