More likely a poor corporate entity who've offshored to a 6 phone call centre in India to help keep that profit at $6 Billion PA rather than $5.999 Billion.

Not quite :)

Just getting some info from a heating manufacturer.

After that call I rang one of their competitors. The person who answered the phone, after about three rings, asked me what I wanted to know. After I explained my questions he took my details and said he'd call me back.

Yeah, right.

Four minutes after hanging up he called me back with the answers.

okaaaaaaaaaay!

Sucks when you think you've downloaded something but turns out you didn't.  Then go to get it and the hit & run parasites have long gone leaving a carcass that'll take all night to pick the data from.

So, hit up the private site...

Heard from my family in northern NSW that it was minus 6 overnight. Water was frozen in the pipes until after 9am :-) That's what I call winter :-)

Stoopid freaking Brisbane and their light cotton winters :-(

Everything I say has come before. Everything I say has come before. Wait - dammit! Oh well, I like you more than reject popcorn bits :-)

For whatever stupid reason, lots of people must sit watching the news while recording it with their phone (vertical video warning).

^ see previous post.  Seems she spilt her drink too (video in link has better image of the very obvious spillage) https://youtu.be/MUh4e3mQozg?t=29

I hope they managed to keep warm ... fuck ! Imagine trying to have an early morning shower :\

I do like to wear actual clothing without sweating bucket loads, but that's as much winter as I care to feel these days. Spending all day in air-con can still chill my feet to a very uncomfortable state. So I like my winters up here thanks. Being warm and wet is far better than cold and wet, and that is what NZ has just now ... way too much water in some places.

Saw Dunkirk at VMax. Really enjoyed it. Beautifully shot and a Zimmer soundtrack to boot.

Stupid Antec case.  The lesser accessed side panel is rivetted on so you can't take it off to get access to the back of the mobo mounting plate.

It's got a horizontal support that spans from the back to where the optical drives go.

Combined with the fact this AM2 board has the CPU right at the top in the middle, makes it impossible to remove the PSU without first taking the CPU fan off, which barely provides the clearance required.

Oh, I forgot to mention the obnoxious group of teenage males sitting in the row in front of us.

They all put their phones on mute well before the start of the movie and they never looked at them during it. They didn't speak during the movie or make heaps of noise digging into chip bags, etc.

Who the fuck do they think they were?
