Just learn to play dota 2, and playing LOL. 

Although Dota 2 has the same base as LOL, but i have difficults to play it. The graphic, and creep is crowded. But i  learn to play Snipper now

Just completed the main campaign and smaller DLC stuff in XCOM 2, quite enjoyed it.

 

I'd had another go at XCOM 1 just prior to getting XCOM 2 and didn't really like it so the second game was a pleasant surprise (as much a surprise as it can be having watched a decent amount of others streaming gameplay).

 

One of my fondest gaming memories is of clearing out a landed (not crashed) three level UFO in the original game UFO: Enemy Unknown so it was nice to gain some enjoyment out of the new stuff and it makes me more comfortable with the idea of putting some money down on the luxury digital deluxe version of Phoenix Point a little closer to when they open up early access for those who backed/preorder at a high enough level.

Started playing the single player campaign in Star Trek Bridge Commander on PSVR. I'm glad they have multi-platform cross-play on this, as I'd hate to try to find the few people who have a PSVR and the game to try and play with.

A bit late to the party... Limbo.

 

Some good puzzles, I'm about 80% through.  Meant to try it out when I saw it on Good Game way back.

 

ed - finished last night, the ending is a bit of a letdown but I suppose like most of the game it's subtle.

Its a remake of 1992 rpg which was the first rpg i ever played

other than the geeks voice over im rather enjoying the trip down memory lane

A robber jump out trying to get me to hand over my gold before realizing how well equipped i was he didn't know weather to run or not so after laughing at him i tossed him some coppers and told him to get a real job
Then he tells me I'm much nicer than the old lady he tried to rob who beat the shit outta him before sharing some of her booze

A while later I found a fat ugly beaver and tamed it
Then that robber tried to rob me again and this happened...

Inside

 

The follow-up to Limbo by the same developers.  Like Limbo very arty but in a good way.

Complaints - it's just too easy.  With Limbo I used a walkthrough video for a couple of situations and some of the secret items which are pretty hard to find.  And for the almost totally dark secret area that you get access to once all the items are found.

 

With Inside it's blatantly obvious by the yellow cord that a secret area is nearby and although I've not done the alternate ending yet, it's not entirely hard to get to and only provides an alternate ending without any puzzle aside from entering the musical notes to open up the area.

The parts where you have to evade capture are very easy and I think I got through all but 1 or 2 on the first try.  Even the part where you're part of a zombie queue it's obvious what you have to do and you can be slow and slack on the mimicing and still get by.

 

Been through Limbo probably 4 or 5 times.  Up to about my 4th for Inside.

Bomber Crew.

 

Was more fun and challenging than I expected.

Unlocking gunner AP ammo, Spitfire escorts and equipping crew for high altitude flying are keys to success. Oh and belt fed fore and aft turrets are a must :p Mid section turrets can save on weight there as the ammo box is just a second or two's walk.

as far as i am concerned, Limbo is a perfect game. 

 

Inside is different.  still excellent, but in some ways better, and some worse. 

 

as before, a macabre mood conveyed palpably through faultless minimalist art direction and sound design.  i liked that they had even more fun with the camera, and going full 3D with the backdrops was a welcome evolution even if at first i thought they were turning their backs on the cool parallax scrolling aesthetic of Limbo — which wasnt the case.  the attention to detail and technical mastery on display in the naturalistic animations is fricken glorious.  and i dont mind that, just like in Limbo, there is way more mystery than resolution in the story arc.  most of all, playing through the closing act, holy shit, that transformed it from being what could have been harshly described as a spruced up Limbo rehash with gameplay shortcomings to something else!  i dont think ive been so visibly impressed and surprised by a turn of events in a game in a long time :D

 

but yeah, i totally agree it was too easy.  someone in a review said they got through each puzzle by pretty much doing the only things available to do without thinking...which is about right.  that was the case in some parts of Limbo, but they really dropped the ball in that respect.  nothing relied on classic twitchy platformer dexterity, which was good, but puzzles that required some analytic thinking were altogether missing.

The last part of Inside where you're integrated into the Huddle is hilarious.  But it's slightly before that where you become pretty much invincible which is another complaint.

 

The hardest, or should I say probably only hard part once you're the Huddle is where you have to toss the flaming crate over the sprinklers and catch it again twice.

 

I'd love a sequel for both... but in the case of Inside at the least, it needs harder puzzles and more challenge to the evade and chase parts.

I don't know how I managed it, but even the secret hatch in the cornfield - I found it immediately in my first game played, probably prompted by the slight changes in perspective, zoom and the pattern of the crop.

Been having a blast doing nothing much in Osiris: New Dawn.

For those who have no idea what it is, it's another SF survival game: crash on planet (colonised, but they're all dead now - and there's the story); gather/mine/refine stuff to survive; avoid/kill wildlife, etc. Early access on Steam, and majorly unfinished - I got it for SFA on one of those Madness things.

It has great big hairy bugs that will kill you (of the programming kind), giant angry land crabs that will kill you... And sandworms. That will kill you.

Honestly, I don't know why I'm persisting with it, having played it through (as far as the story so far goes) once already.

14 years and still amazing. 'Epic' coders were epic.



Moved on to Empyrion, via X Rebirth.

XR is still complete shit until you pile on a couple dozen mods, and then it's passable. Got acquainted with X back at X2 and the worst things then were stupid pov camera that swayed around, bad dialogue spoken by godawful voice actors (probably office staff) and abysmally bad character animations. NONE of those were any better by XR, plus they managed to get *worse* at story-craft. Thankfully there's a half decent space-opera type sim in there somewhere.

Empyrion, otoh, is brilliant, if you're into that sort of thing. To say that it' Space Engineers only prettier, with playable framerates, and a story would be very close to the truth. Some other stuff is also better than SE, but there is also some sorely missing: programmables, rotors, pistons, and multiple toolbars mainly.

Yep. will be a go-to game much more often now, me thinks. Walt has made it very bearable to play on this limited resource we have. I am very impressed with the way it runs.

Been trying out a few of the Stickman games on the phone and tablet.

 

The best ones seem to be the releases from Djinnworks.  Mainly playing Super Stickman Golf 3 and Stickman Base Jumper.

Base Jumper seems a bit buggy, crashes on some devices.

 

Also been getting into Desert Golfing, a good game for passing a couple of spare minutes.  Got an older version, the new one seems to be not as good.  Up to hole # 1904.
