Anyone know how to download a copy of a email in Outlook on the MS Phone 8.1?

I know in Thunderbird on my PC you download a copy from the Mail Server and leave original on the Mail Server.

Most free email addresses require insane amounts of ID now over security ,and their in no way i am providing ID to be abused.

Outlook does store a local copy of the email, because you can still read it when you go offline.

Doesn't apply to the graphics linked to the email, that needs get them online.

Caveat - there's limitation based on time what it stores, dependent on the settings you put in outlook. If you only want the last month, it only stores a copy of the last month. Which makes sense, given phones don't have much space anyway,

That is the problem it sets it up automatically ,as i can find no settings.

You need to go into the Outlook account settings, it's not under mail settings.

In W10m

-> Settings

-> Accounts

-> Your email and accounts

-> Email, calendar and contacts (select account)

Download email from

the last 3 days

the last 7 days

the last 2 weeks

the last month

any time <--- Not recommended if you don't have space left on the phone

You do realise you can lie on those fields, right?

Unless you forget your password, or get hacked (so you need to prove who you are) they're not important information.
