Hey Atomic :)

The time has come for the PC PowerPlay forums to gracefully and with dignity exit the internet. We made the decision and announcement yesterday and we're encouraging the fine people there to come and join in at Atomic.

So, if you see anyone new please do make them feel welcome, there's so much in common between the Atomic and PCPP community I reckon we'll all get along just fine :)

And a big BTW because I know what you're thinking - there is absolutely no plan or intention - right out into the longest long term imaginable - that the Atomic forums face the same situation. It won't happen. I promise.

So - for any PCPPers who need a really top Au tech and games forum, with excellent people, you have landed.

Ben

Welcome new bretheren! please come one come all, talk about random shit, we wont bite hard.

Though do understand; we are an old-tight-knit group, so if you see jokes or comments that seem harsh; we're just "Giving each other heaps"; there's very little, if any, bad blood here :)

an infusion of new blood will always be welcome

it feels like a geriatric ward in here sometimes.  i mean, consider the 3 most active threads of recent times, where we:-

- spew out random rambling thoughts
- moan about the government
- keep track of who died

Blood? Hey! That's my schtick!

Well.

Fine. You have it, then.

Hello PCPPers, willkommen and welcome! :-)

Love nibbles don't count - right?

I'm here, looking very much the same as I was there.  Only here I can actually do stuff to help rather than having to steal Dr Wilkenstein's login all the time. :P

We welcome our new brethren with open arms and prophylactics.

oh!  And don't forget to check out http://forums.atomic...-date-3-feb-18/ which is our upcoming celebration meet so you can experience all the wondrous atomic weirdness in person.  We'd love to see you there.

My, society has changed since my formative years!  I was always told that it was inappropriate to greet new friends with an erection.  This is much more freeing, I must say.

Have a look at the first page you old coot ! Your name is nowhere to be seen as the instigator of a thread ... talk about being a whiny-old-blowhard ! :P~ <<< "geriatic ward "?!?  we don't smell anything like it ... yet

Like M_S I think it's rather cool that atomic stays the course, iirc there was some concern that atomic would be consumed by PCPP. Kudos to the forums here that do the work. The Green Room can take no bows here, it's been tumbleweed territory for toooo long.

Could really use some new threads here ;)

You might find that the demo disks are awesome and well worth a look again ;). It's not so much about being able to download, it's also about finding stuff you might not have spotted. :)

I was thinking I might go to my grave free of the experience of either bingo or poker machines. But, by all means, if a bingo thread floats your boat ... :)
