Help! Baby on the way ... what do I need to know?

07 July 2018 - 09:08 PM

My girlfriend has passed 3 pregnancy tests with flying colours after coming up short on her monthly thingo. We think she is 3-4 wks along, so early days for now but still doesn't hurt to get acquainted with a bit of a reality check in the meantime I figure. She wants to wait until about 7-8 wks before going to a doc. According to an aplication she downloaded, she'll be due around March 7th next year.

I have started by moving the motorbike out of the spare room and mulching the garden.

How much do Uber drivers make?

20 April 2018 - 09:29 PM

My girlfriend recently introduced me to uber... I'm now a convert.

It got me wondering... how much does an uber driver take from a fare?

Does anyone quit their day job and become a full time uber driver?

best thing to do with a 12v remote switch?

I bought one of these off ebay for $12.

I had a great deal of fun last night, turning a 120mm pc fan on & off from about 20 metres away. Apparently they are good for about 80m. A friend of mine has a 4 channel switch on his car to run various lights and gadgets. I was going to do something similar but it really got me thinking, you could probably do some really cool stuff with one of these.

I also grabbed a 12v temp controlled relay for an intercooler fan on my vehicle (for low speed high rpm), the system seems to work well

Bitcoin trading.....

10 November 2017 - 03:21 PM

I know nothing.

But it doesn't seem that hard? I've been dabbling in this for the past week or so watching the trends of the market, place orders for when it's low, set stop losses as it rises above the opening price and take profits when it's high. I lost a bit at first because I panicked when I saw my open positions lose value and sold them at the wrong time, but I've since learned to have enough equity in my trading accounts to follow the market as it falls, I've been keeping my margin about 10-15%. Understandably there's always the risk of the market falling way beyond what my equity would allow for but so far so good and I've made more than half back in net profits on top of the equity I started with 9 days ago.

I see how people make careers out of this.
