#1203081 What Did You Watch Lately ?

Posted by stuub27 on 30 June 2018 - 08:23 PM

I just tried to watch The Lion King for the first time...

I obviously have no heart or soul- everyone raved about this movie, but I didn't last 10 minutes! The overblown music gave me the shits and I wanted all the characters to die

I mean, I never have been a big Disney fan...and maybe it would have grown on me...but I plan to never find that out!

I just watched Warner's press conference...for better or worse, the whole saga has certainly affected him...

Of course that don't make what they did right, but still

They're only sorry they were caught, not because they did it.

And Warne, Clarke et al. want us to feel sorry for them? That's like feeling sorry for a bloody Funnel Web Spider.

Oh, very largely agreed

I just hope this leads to a speedy conclusion...or, at least, that my general lack of faith in people to not be dicks over the next weeks/months is not proven too conclusively.

I'll go 63% yes

As I suck on a beer sitting at the PC...I hover at 83kg, should lose a couple. Or at least redistribute the belly to other areas.

But what I really wanted to say was, "How DARE you start a New Topic!"

Saw Dr about blood results...was just a locum unfamiliar with my history. Which was the expected outcome, but obviously a good one, too!

I get monthly blood tests done, for one of the meds I'm on and for the ongoing course of Intragam (http://www.csl.com.a...oductDetail.htm) I am getting.

Yeah, "out of range" doesn't ring too many alarms- some of my results have been for years- but they've never called before! Mind you, I would have thought my haematologist would be the one calling if it's anything exciting really...

Anyway, will find out tomorrow I guess! :)

Eddie Obeid stuck in jail

That. Is. Gold.

Might have few dodgy friends in the same gaol!

With his own very special bunch of deplorables. I hope they treat him right...

The home stuff is fine, you can get those EasiYo kits from the supermarket for about $15, pick a million different flavours, add water and leave on the bench overnight...all done. :)  There's a ton of other things you can do to rejuvenate your gut bacteria, from yoghurt to a whole range of probiotic supplement and they will all have different effects.  I got hit with multiple high-strength antibiotics (can't remember the name) and a round of prednisone (steroid, which i should have googled first but didn't) and that knocked me over completely.  I'm now down to a half-sachet of Vivomix once or twice a week and almost back to normal.  Look after your tummy bugs because when they get out of balance it affect your whole body and it takes a long time to make the connection.

Yep, gotta keep the gut flora happy!
