Must feel like one hell of an achievement to be back in the bizness of your business tmfp.

I love getting back into routine normalness

but i have cut down my workload, only going to do 5 days a week, instead of 6

I reckon it's good you're taking the extra day each week. Happy days to you :)

I seem to recall many moons ago now you said that the costs of feeding yourself from home opposed to dining out /takeaway was in favour of the latter cost wise. Me thinks it's time to review you previous decision perhaps.

Vegies  and any fresh food cooked by you is better. No need whatsoever for it be fancy. In fact, imo, the plainer the better.

No, that's still the case.

And trust me, a chef\meal companies etc, does a much better job than I do of making sure I eat veggies :P

I don't need to trust you per say, you need to trust that random chef/meal companies etc. are the right fit for your body. :) ... What I say stems from how I feel about always 'eating out', and I'm not you.

Yeah, at home it tends to be microwavable foods (as I own a microwave), and if I'm going to have vegetables it's almost exclusively onions.

Where as at least when the local chef does a meal (I eat almost exclusively asian) the stirfrys have a 'rainbow' in them. There's charcoal vegetables, Miso (and we all know how good that is for ya!), always eggs involved somehow, etc etc.

Because I only would choose onions and chicken, eating at home would result in a very bad diet :P

Anyway, besides super low cholesterol, my bloods came back, to quote "perfect".

Yeah I know about your food preferences from other threads. o_O ... Your choice of food does not interest me, you're an adult.

It would be a mighty frustrating relationship to be your doctor. You have no real proof of even what brand of Soy sauce is used at any given time; what type of oil; what brand of seasonings/ herbs nothing. Nor can you tell the Doc. what cleaning products were used to clean the utensils that cooked the meal you were served with. Nor even if the cleaning was properly done; or whether anyone involved with producing the meal/s you're served was ill in anyway . Need I  go on ? Not being a Doc. yourself, you cannot know what might be causing your throat irritation.

It might even be something the tables you sit at to eat your Soy foods, is cleaned with something offensive to your particular system ... which is one of the reasons why I choose to eat at home more than out. I know what my dirt consists of and what I use to clean it with.:P

Oh well, guess I'll die.

Well yes of course you will, as will we all Nich especially :) however, I reckon, if we were talking about your autos or computer related stuffs I'm not sure you would be quite so blasé . And the fact of this thread's existence leads me to believe you not be quite ready to die just yet .

ummm stating the obvious here, but just because you don't do alcohol or ciggies doesn't mean you be in the clear of anything really. Yes I know it's a really pessimistic thing to say, but for someone who ponders whether to buy a house ( see 'nother thread ) $70.00 to sit and chat about your health seems cheap to me ... and I'm not being narky for the sake of it. It's your life M_S that is the topic here.

I cannot take seriously any of these pollies from any side of the house. None of them have any credibility . If they want me to believe the shit they spout about how much more we all have to pay for any of their decisions, then they can jolly well lead by example and start paying for every thing they expected to receive FOC for being elected into their jobs by us.

As for the underlined I have a feeling I should take some offence as I don't recall being a serial killer ... yet. It wasn't that I was a perfect child, it was that I knew footballs and scooters and catchy were games played outside.

but but that implies that kids that do misbehave are natural.

The olds must have brought the wrong calenders for us. we never got chocolates . it was usually some sort of statement or an image of a scene pertaining to the travelling leading up to the birth in the manger scene. no wonder I feel deprived.

#1198831 What Did You Watch Lately ?

Posted by eveln on 04 January 2018 - 10:51 PM

I just finished watching The Sinner on Netflix. I enjoyed it.

I saw this post by you, then a week later I was chatting with another person in RL who also said it was worth it. I've just finished ep. 3 now. Not sure that "enjoy" is my experience so far. The pace is just shy of agonisingly tedious ;) but I can see why it should be so.

I'm intrigued at this point and that will keep me watching

The words " nuclear bomb " used to terrify me. Now I read them in an almost casual manner << I think that is the scary thing now. ^^ Obviously Kim and Donald have been sitting too close to their nuclear buttons ...

Given a thread starts with spam, it's inevitable it heads in the direction of logic - see scruffy1's last post :)

BL to the former infrastructure minister, who is parachuting out because Joyce wants his job and there weren't enough QLDers in power. I did admire that he turned down a secretarial/assistant minister role tho', to focus on his pet projects.

Only today did I know of Malcy's fluttery response when asked about Chester losing his spot ... lol.
