What is it with PC stores and the 2% credit card surcharge?

Yarp. Bare minimum of $528 annually, most likely more. Let's say you have a very small five transactions a week, that's an extra 5x52x$0.33=$85.80. And if you get over ~$375/week in payments the 1.35% applies. Let's say you again get only a very small $800/week in credit card payments. So an extra (800-375)*.0135*(365/7)=$299.17

So a very modest/small business using it for 5 transactions totalling $800 a week would pay $912.97 a year for the privelage/convenience.

Yeah, I'm definitely sticking with cash/cheque/DC.
