All looks pretty good there mate, just one change..
Mother board: ASRock Z77 Extreme4 Motherboard, $20 odd cheaper and can handle higher RAM speeds (if you do overclock 2800 v's 2600) plus a few other features.
I only suggest this one as iv had a few issues with Gigashite MB in the past but yet to have any issue with Asrock (had them in the past and iv built 3 game PCs for mates in the last 8 mnths with them). otherwise mate she look like a winner :)

ASUS P8Z77-M Pro $134
otherwise it looks rather good

My last minute choice was going to be either the AS Rock Mobos or the Gigabyte.

Going by your solid comments I am thinking i may need to reconsider that option.
Any real benefit to choosing between say

Extreme 6 or even the Fatal1ty boards?

Anything to also look for as far as SSD drives go?

Dasa , not really worried about saving just reliability.
I am not crazy for OC'ing never really got into it. Just want everything to work and work well.

You might find 60GB a bit small for OS and a few games. I've got a 120GB and with Win 7, MS Office and BF3, I'm up to 59.3GB used.

I'd be looking at this or this if you prefer Intel.

To be honest the Extreme 6 is a better MB than the Fatal1ty performance MB (the pro is better but more expensive)
As to SSD's i would go a min of a 120gb, unless u like swapping games out all the time :) Intel 330's have a good name, but SanDisk also have a good rep and are an excellent Option

Intel: Intel SSD 120GB 330 Series, SATA III 6Gb/s, 25nm, MLC, read/write speed(up to) 500/450MB/s, random writes (up to) 33,000 IOPS, 3 year warranty. $119.00
SanDisk: SanDisk Extreme Solid State Drive 120GB, SATA 6 Gb/s (backward compatible to SATA 3 Gb/s & SATA 1.5 Gb/s), read/write speed (up to) 550/510 MB/s, Random Write (up to) 83,000 IOPS, 3 year Limited warranty. $109.00

Edit: i didnt look at disco's post links till i had written my reply, but as you can see he has said the same SSD's :)

60g is enough for os only if you keep it trim
120g isnt enough for games imo 240g is the minimum to have dedicacted to games with a 60-120g ssd also for the os but then some people only play one or two games repeatable instead of swapping between a heap

if i was to buy a ssd in au now it would probably one one of the smaller samsung 830 ssd for os and the 480g sandisk for games

you only need to spend more on the mb if it has features you want
if you want reliability look at asus sabertooth z77 5 year warranty ~$250
