Just so the Windows Phone users don't feel left out... Big Brother in Redmond is watching... They don't store the data on the devices, but they do transmit it to a back-end server where it can be stored for who knows how long.

Makes storing it on a desktop computer under the control of the user comparatively harmless in my opinion.

That's somewhat creepy :/

If Apple was transmitting it back, either from the phone or the computer, I'd be worried about that.
I wonder if LittleSnitch will come out for jailbroken iphones.

It's an app long used by mac users to track when software phones home, and block it (if desired).

Bug in the code is plausible, I wonder what the excuse is with the others...

As I say it doesn't bother me as any voyeur types would get incredibly bored tracking my movements.
