Ok well my pc i build thats 8 months old is starting to play up the 1st problem it had is when im watching youtube the pc would randomly blue screen crash and it was compleatly random i would watch a lot of vids the crash.
The other problem and this is the big 1 the pc won't always start the hard dard drive would beep 16 time and then nothing no screen no keybord or mouse but all the fans and neons would turn on. I would have to turn it on and off up to 5-10 times befor it will boot and then it will take a bit to start up but after that it works fine. So i think it might be the mother bord on the fritz.

Can any one help befor i spend money to get it fixed

What's your motherboard? have you checked to see what the beep error code is in the manual?

Anything in the system logs for when it does randomly blue screen?

harddrives beep now? What brand harddrive?

Sure that's what the blue screen says, but what does it say in the System Event logs for when the crashed happened?

Edit: My google fu is failing for finding error codes for harddrives beeping...

Also Graphics loss? So perhaps your graphics card then?

Sounds like a power surge has hit your PSU ,Graphics card and Hard Drive Controller. Has it been raining and with Lightning storms in your area?

Remove the Graphics Card and unplug the Hard Drive and see if it boots up. If it boots with no beeps then turn off comp and re-install the Graphics card and bootup. If all seems ok ,then it must be the Hard Drive. You can check by plugging in the Hard drive and boot up ,if it beeps and starts to show problems it is the Hard Drive.

Kids have got that Mobo, (I have a 870 UD3 which is not too far off beign the same) no problems and it gets used for Skype, internet idle games and some times has both Wow and Diablo 3 clients open at the same time.

Have you looked at your BSOD logs? I got a BSOD viewer and am runnign through each code at microsoft to see whats up.

You could try what the letter page this issue sugests and reseat the GPU in the PCIe. really the BSOD codes is a must if you want track the sucker down.

Also, what is your Graphics card. my partners card GTX260 says it's only DX10 but I suspect is being subjected to DX11 and not liking it. BSOD log viewer had me on the Windows forums and preparing for a driver unistall and wipe followed by clean install. but 1st, I give it a clean and reseat.

Try a different Sata port first, it could just be the sata controller on the board is playing up. Also try a different Sata cable if you can.

With the BSODs, what sort of Graphics Card do you have? No offense intended here, but you don't seem like you know a whole lot about computers, if that is the case, have you updated your Drivers? There was an issue with some AMD cards last year or the year before where using Flash would cause a BSOD. If you haven't, update your graphics drivers.

Just read the other replies, definitely look at reseating everything, the ram, the gpu and any power connectors you can get to aswell.

Alot of the time i've found that power may be insufficient, hence the drop outs, can you give me a bit more in terms of your computer specs.
