Does anyone know of a program / script (for windows!) that can change the song name?
ie from "01_#artist#-#song name#" to just "#artist# - #song name#" i mean, getting rid of all the numbers in the songs (iTunes really screwed me over - no iPhone anymore s2 ftw). like when i play them in winamp it converts 90% to how i want them, is there a way to get that same thing happen to the file name itself (save going through every song and doing it manually) -------------------- My Rig: Xigmatek Elysium Case - Gigabyte X58A-UD5 Mobo - Intel Core i7-960 CPU - Corsair H100 CPU Cooler - Corsair RAM 24GB 1600MHz - 2 x XFX XXX Edition HD5870 Crossfired - 1 x Sandisk Extreme 240GB SSD (OS) - 1 x OCZ 240GB (EA + Blizz) - 2 x 500GB Samsung (Raid 0 - Steam) - 1 x 1TB Samsung - Corsair HX1000AU PSU

Foobar 2000 still does a great job of batch renaming (provided the file metadata is correct).

Media Monkey does a decent job on Windows, it allows you to poll the net to find ID3 tages and update accordingly.
