Not long moved up here, and the only friend I have here that plays only has a starter deck and limited experience. Would be good to play against some experienced people with decent decks. I have: Mono-Black - Burn Red/black - Vampire Mono-White - Angel I'm also starting to build a colourless Artifact deck, just waiting on the cards to arrive from overseas... -------------------- Rig: 2500K, 8GB Corsair Vengeance, Asrock Z68 Extreme7 Gen3, 2 x 6970 2GB, Asus Xonar Essence STX, Corsair Neutron 240GB

I've a mate in Canberra who's getting into Firestorm - I'll have to hit him up for a game. Definitely worth it. Next time you're over this neck of the woods, bring him out to Yass for a game. If he lives on the north side it's only about a 30-40min drive. -------------------- Friend Computer is wise. Friend Computer wants Alpha Complex to be happy. Happiness Is Mandatory. So, my latest project - 10mm American Civil War. Sorry for the poor shot - they're hard to focus on!
Union Troops I've dabbled with historicals before, but this is my first big attempt to get a complete setup going. I'll be painting/collecting both Union and Confederate troops, getting terrain all together, and plannig to be able to host mates for complete games with my collection. The 10mm stuff is amazing - bloody tiny, but fast to paint. I got 30 of these guys done in an afternoon. The rules I'll be using are called Regimental Fire & Fury, and look pretty solid. -------------------- aka David Hollingworth, Editor, AtomicMPC

If you get onto Magic Online, I'm in! You know what? Why don't Games Workshop do a similar thing with Warhammer/40K? When they make a computerised version of the game, I'm in. Just like what Wizards of the Coast have done with Magic Online - completely the same game, just computerised. Basically, make all of their physical products available as digital, provide battlefields and tournaments and Bob's your uncle. You could even provide tools so that people can create their own battlefields to play on. You wouldn't have to buy masses of plastic doovalackies, you could play whenever you wanted and, best of all, you wouldn't have to leave your house. You could even go fancy pants and be able to paint the digital miniatures and create your own custom banners and other such goodness. I live in a pretty out of the way place, so playing isn't practical for me, as much as I'd love to. Magic Online are charging similar money for their digital products as they are for paper, so why not Games Workshop? Huh? Why not? I wanna be able to play as my very own chapter, the Poor Knights ![]() Complete with lore friendly back story as approved by White Dwarf. I was going to Aleph and Myrmidons, but Good Games didn't have any, so I picked up the Haqqislam starter. Nearly got them all painted up in urban cams and looking sharp. Very challenging - but rewarding - figures to paint!

Picked up some Supluchral Stalkers:
![]() And the Casket: ![]() Has 3 wounds at toughness 10, then this happens: If a Casket of Souls is destroyed, roll a D6 for every unit within 12" (friend or foe!) On a roll of 4+ that unit immediately suffers D6 strength 6 hits. These are magical attacks, no armour saves allowed. -------------------- KEN SENT ME

Agreed though, very daunting minis to paint. -------------------- Friend Computer is wise. Friend Computer wants Alpha Complex to be happy. Happiness Is Mandatory. Failure to be happy is treason. I need to get some good pics of them - they're almost as hard to photograph as they are to paint!
But I've had two games with my Haqq guys, and I'm really happy with them. Camouflaged infiltrating snipers for the win! -------------------- aka David Hollingworth, Editor, AtomicMPC

Camouflaged infiltrating snipers for the win! Snipers are very powerful in Infinity... but so they should be... makes sense really. There are ways around them and like all games of Infinity they really come alive with a table heavily populated with terrain. I'd love to see the photos of your dudes! Must get back to work on my ALEPH. Too many different games getting played at our club... I keep losing track of what needs to be painted next! -------------------- Friend Computer is wise. That does look like a striking game, but I don't think anything's going to pull me away from Infinity just yet :)
