Well, it is on an article in the mag, so kinda makes sense...

QUOTE (TheFrunj @ May 25 2012, 01:38 PM) *
WHS2011 is better as it's designed to run for weeks without a reboot, and to run without a monitor attached. It's got a lot of tweaking - and it's MUCH cheaper than a standard W7 license. In terms of look and feel, if you've any experience with W7 you'll be totally comfortable in WHS2011.

I've been using WHS 2011 as the OS for my home server (duh) since it's release and am now looking to rip it out. The removal of drive extender and the limit of file systems to 2TB is so stupid that it's beyond belief. This limitation means that I spend time shuffling files around discrete disks to stop them filling up. There are third party solutions of varying degrees of quality, but it will be cheaper to go to a linux solution me thinks.

BTW - Tried the tech support in tech rooms - fuck all quality responses to be frank (mind you its early days). I'll ping someone knowledgeable at work for the right answers...

Still I do love these little microservers; the little engine that could!
