I recently replaced my 5770 with a 7770 in my computer but now i am having driver crashes if i try to do 2 things at once .
The most common thing i will be doing is Running WoW and watching a stream or you tube everything will freeze and then go black and tell me display driver has recovered from a fault (also WoW will need a restart as it stops responding).
This never happened with the 5770 in the whole time i had it , the drivers are up to date if i check in catalyst and nothing else has changed .
My system is
I5 750 at 3.8mhz ( with nocture cooler)
G.skill ripjawz 8 gig 1600 mhz
Corsaire Hz650w power supply
2 x Seagate barracuda 1tb Hdd
gigabyte ga-p55-ud3
3x lg 23"lcd's running in eyefinity
the only other difference is i went from a display port adaptor + 2x dvi inputs to a mini display port adaptor + hdmi + dvi
any ideas would be helpful

Which Catalyst are you running ATM? There are the beta drivers which might help you out there.

Did you uninstall the old drivers for 5770 first before applying the new drivers for the 7770?

Yea give the beta drives a go, also I know this is a silly question but it has happened before to others here, did you plug in the power to your card ?

Unsure which catalyst I'm am using at the moment (at work) but I am under the impression it's latest as I downloaded it when I installed card . Thank you for the link I will try the beta see if that helps

Im pretty sure i uninstalled the drivers when I installed the new ones as part of installation but I will check

Also yes I plugged in extra power cord , not a silly question at all usually the simplest solutions the right one

Thank you all for your help hopefully I get it sorted at least I got some stuff to try now

12.3 is out now, and officially supports all HD 7000 series cards. Might work for you
