This is great fun. I really wish I hadn't just graduated, this search in particular would have made my life a lot easier in second year.

Homework is obsolete for most kids these days. Not that it makes much difference.

This is still returning some odd results, but then it's not a search engine, but an 'computational knowledge engine'...

It's certainly no replacement for Google, not that it's trying to be. I miss Teoma.

I wonder if it understands financial stuff...

[edit]: It feels like it's getting DDoSed :P

[edit2]: It doesn't know how to handle "present value of $1 in perpetuity", but does seem to be able to handle more basic tasks.

[edit3]: It might not be able to handle "present value of $1 in perpetuity", but that seems to be because I'm not phrasing it right. It does perpetuity calculations at the same time it does annuity calculations.

Rob.

Hey, I don't even understand the question. Maybe you should rephrase that.

Damn finance students >_>

Oh yeah. Finally. It's everything Google Calculator should have been, could have been, but never was.

Try something like "perpetuity present value of $1". You have to learn to phrase things the right way.
