Almost a year ago I built my PC: Case is a Silverstone LC17, mobo is a Gigabyte X58Extreme;
![]() As you can agree it was a bit of a mess but didn't suffer any ill effects due to the birdsnest inside. After having a few beers, a quite day and a read of the latest atomic I thought I could do better so I broke out the angle grinder and this is the result: ![]() Pretty happy with the result as the CPU power cable now no longer runs atop the graphics card vents. Plenty of zip ties, plenty of patience and the results speak for themselves. I know there is room for improvement, but in a case that is very very limited for space It's not a bad start. Pitty the ODIN GT CPU cable is so short Cheers Jordan |

Temps are much the same, and since the desktop style case has no window on it it was out of sight out of mind for nearly a year.

To me cable management is not about showing it off with windows and leds, but own personal satisfaction to keep the computer I built as neat and clean as possible. I modded my P180B for better cable management and I have no side window but i know its nice and neat in my comp regardless.

But! If you treat it well and look after it and even manage it to keep it clean and serviced, it will work for you and even get the satisfaction that you know thats how you are. To other people, they see you as someone who cares for their stuff :) -------------------- - | ASUS P6T-SE LGA1366 X58 | Intel i7-920 | G Skill 6G DDR3 PC16000 | Sapphire HD5870 | Corsair HX-750W | Windows 7 | SAMSUNG - 1TB HDD | Lian Li - PC-P50RSE (RED) Armorsuit | BenQ G2420HD | -

HAHA, thats not too bad, you should see my media centre, it has 2 bits of wood in it to stop it from collapsing. Riverts fell out years ago due to the vibrations..
Huge improvement btw! |
