Wow just wow, this is the sort of release I expect for a b-grade MMO. I can't even load the game. I've been waiting on the game ever since I finished Crysis Warhead years ago.
I should have waited a bit, there was news of a release-day patch and many problems with the demo they released. I should have seen this coming..... Annnnyyyyyways, once I can actually load the game up this better not disappoint -___- -------------------- i7 920 d0 @ 4.2Ghz(200x21) 1.31v - GigaByte X58 Extreme - Patriot Viper 6GB DDR3 1600mhz - 2x GigaByte GTX295 Quad SLi

You.. uninstalled your anti-virus software?
Nice solution bro. I think you should stick to the already active Crysis 2 thread, instead of your failed attempt at a rage thread (Which seems like you're the cause of the problems). -------------------- h.IV+[Kymatica]

You did try adding it as an expection to your virus scanner yeah? So it didn't scan the game? |

If it's fun I'll like it, the first Crysis was really fun to play, not a great story line and forgettable characters but really fun.

I tried adding it to my exceptions list it didn't work tho, there's an option in AVG to temporarily turn off the antivirus for a few minutes. Thats what I do.
Well aside from the fact that I have to turn off my anti-virus to launch the game, the game is really good so far. It looks amazing and runs really well on my setup. But no; wasn't really raging. :) -------------------- i7 920 d0 @ 4.2Ghz(200x21) 1.31v - GigaByte X58 Extreme - Patriot Viper 6GB DDR3 1600mhz - 2x GigaByte GTX295 Quad SLi

It's nowhere near horrible. Just not up to some people's completely blown out of the water expectations. That the graphics would be better than the last game? Don't see how expecting a squeal to have better graphics was a "completely blown out of the water expectation". -------------------- not working is hard work

The graphics are fine.
I wouldn't really say they're better or worse, they're just different. Which does not, in any way, make it a 'horrible' game. This post has been edited by Reb1rth.: Mar 25 2011, 06:35 AM -------------------- PC: h.IV+[Ezkaton]

What's more appealing to the eye:
Beautiful green trees, and sparkling clean water as far as you can see OR piles of ruined buildings and concrete? -------------------- h.IV+[Kymatica]

Not only is it not a horrible game, it's a fucking great game! It's the most fun and enjoyable FPS I've played in years. YEARS! Edit: My bold type thingies didn't work for some reason. it's a fucking great game! and YEARS! are in bold text, just picture it in your mind.
