I am thinking buying a FULL HD LED TV and i saw these brands and they so cheap compared to the larger brands. Secondly they have a VGA interface so might be good for a backup monitor.

Soniq 32 LED FULL HD TV Has anyone bought one and what are their thoughts on this brand.

I bought a Soniq 42" SD Plasma back in 2006. It briefly had issues during a very hot couple of weeks earlier this year where it couldn't stay on for more than a few hours at a time without being allowed to cool down, but that's went away as the temperature dropped. My parents bought the same model a month or so after me and that one's going fine too. My grandparents got one late 2007 and that was on almost 24/7 and it too has had no problems. A friend bought a 42" LCD one about a year ago and that's been fine reliability wise, although I find the image is over-sharp and a little jaggy.

I got the missus a little 19" Soniq TV+DVD combo thing for Christmas.

The viewing angle is crap, but it's otherwise pretty good.

Worth noting, Soniq 32" LCD for $299.

The reason i am looking at Soniq its cheap and the screen looks good ,knowing that its made in China too. But being assembled in Australia, Melbourne. It will probably be used with a Blu-ray / Dvd player recorder in my bedroom. Only other alternative would be the Samsung ,but that $200 more. Might try JB-HiFi in Adelaide as they have a good range. I mainly after a 1080p model not a Hi-res model.
