Essentially according to this you save money getting this instead of waiting and buying all the upcoming DLC and that's on top of the other stuff you get with premium. If that's true I might consider it.

Cause I for one still enjoy Battlefield 3 and despite it didn't fill up all the expectations you guys had, there's still fun gameplay to be had from my experiences.

i enjoy playing with my jihad jeeps with coldy, most fun i've had in bf3 in a while

but we do it a little differently, one of us places the c4 on the jeep, the other drives, and waits for the scream to 'blow it' over vent ^_^

then there's the added effect of the jeep doing some sort of barrel roll

What a nice guy.
Can you report him via the forums? I'm not sure... though I do see a lot of people naming and shaming hackers there, iirc.

Also, CQ is kinda fun... it's different. Frantic, fast paced, all the maps are very open... there's heaps of ways around so it doesn't feel like a clusterfuck chokepoint like Metro conquest.
It's a nice change, and gunmaster is pretty cool -- even though I disagree with the weapon order.

Holy fucking shitballs CQ is intense. No room to breathe. Just fucking get out there, run and shoot anything that moves.....

I hate gun master mode. After watching some counter strike preview thingy that had it, I thought it looked lame back then, and after trying it out I really don't like it. It's pointless. Hopefully, this is as far removed from *Battlefield* that they go. Conquest Domination is passable....I wish there weren't random spawns though. It doesn't give any purpose to capturing flags (apart from from the ticket bleed).

Really wish they could have implemented regular conquest and rush modes somehow.

Love the maps though! So strange how having to look up and down more makes you feel very vulnerable. Very much appreciated change of scenery, especially in recent times where I always seem to end up on Metro, Caspian or Kharg :P

Cant wait to try some of the other modes.

Yeah I agree with you justo on not really having any point to capping flags on CQ Dom... it just feels like TDM, basically.
Though with the speed the flags are capped, without random spawn one team would get capped out extremely quickly.

I just fucking hate that spawn protection seems to work for everybody but me.
6/10 times I'll spawn into death.

I can imagine getting tired of it kinda quickly 'cause of the lack of variety in gameplay and the chaotic nature is tiring... but for now it's a refreshing change.

Recorded everything from tonight's CQ session.

Anyone have any idea why Fraps sometimes locks your framerate to 30fps when I have the framerate lock option UNCHECKED? Didn't bother me too much tonight since we were just trying to figure out where everything was on the new maps, but when you're used to 60fps..... :P

Managed to get a few hours in. I'll reiterate and confirm that I really do like the new maps. I love their design and styling. I especially like that it just feels like a breath of fresh air compared to the original maps we've been playing since launch. I'm pretty sure we were playing on a 64p server (thank fuck it's not limited to 24p like consoles), and not once did it feel like Metro. There's always a way to flank the enemy in a way that doesn't end up in a stalemate it seems, and it feels like there's always a way to get from one end to another without going through the middle (like Metro). It's only early days, and who knows, maybe that will happen somehow, but for now, it feels good.

Still not a fan of Conquest Domination. But, while it feels like Team Deathmatch (and I HATE deathmatch in any shape or form), at least the flags force you and your team to move around in some sort of order.....

I was a bit disappointed with the level of destruction. I expected more (going by what the trailers suggested). Yeah there's some walls you can shoot through, but for the most part, it doesn't feel like you can destroy anything significant.

i ended up ditched my med packs and having fun with m320, got love the noobs who thought it was a 'good' idea to booby trap a flags with c4 - kaboom :D.

played a few of rounds of gun game, didn't enjoy it all that much, mainly got sick of moppers (ie: 75+ kill assists... - but its always been that way with gun game even in CS)
