Accommodation confirmed and paid for, my first choice was all taken up, had to go with my backup. A little bit more expensive, a bit of a walk from the venue but happy that I have a place to crash.

There will be somewhere in the vicinity of 40-100 people, 60 sounds realistic TBH, even if (potentially) a little optimistic. Reasonable sized contingent of people coming from interstate, especially Sydney and Canberra. A number of Melbourne people who no longer forum that I will be poking with reminder sticks etc.

I reckon the best turn out you can probably expect is 60 to 80. Beyond that is fucking gravy.
about 40 - 50 is a reasonable expectation to have. And heads up: My vote for next year is Surfers Paradise. Fuck this cold weather bullshit, I want me some beach beers.
