I think about it a lot. You don't get pro like me without analysing what got the best results. It's almost a curse though. For a while my opinion of sex became very cynical, and it was almost like reading through a manual. "Ok, press here, rub that, flip there, bop this" etc.

the longest ive been dry for in the past 8 or so years is about 3 months when I was single for a while. Thought to myself I'm getting sick of this so i joined a dating site and met the woman i ended up marrying..

I dont need to have sex although I do jump on her with pretty much no provocation whenever we get the chance.. i do prefer having steady hands :P

What I meant was that wanting an emotional connection is not a negative thing, and I think sex-related guilt from some religion is a different issue.

Speaking purely for myself, I don't feel any such guilt - I simply don't feel it's any more exciting than wanking unless my brain and emotions are involved in the process.

I'm the same - I can't just "root around". For me, I'm classed as Asexual (No religious upbringing or anything - It's classed as a disorder last I heard) - Only problem here is, is that most of the females I seem to attract are the type who won't look at building a relationship until they've had sex first


Over 10 years sexless and single here. Have dated 3 times, but they all ended pretty badly for me. It's not sex which I miss, it's the relationship side of things I want (Sex just comes from having a healthy relationship).
