Gharphields 24 Hour Gaming Marathon, For the 'Make-a-wish' Foundation Options

Lets start this with the back story:

It was my birthday, didn't want to do anything special, but my wife was suggesting I should. This quickly evolved into just have a 24 hour gaming marathon for fun with some Atomicans and friends that are close by. This yet again evolved into a "hey why don't we see if we can raise money for a Charity whilst we're doing it". And in the space of a few days it was decided!




So here's the plan / details:

DATE: 14th - 15th of April - Starting at 11am

WHERE: My place, plenty of games to go through, lots of consoles hooked up!

WHO: Whilst some won't be familiar with any Atomicans, I do have a few familiars joining me, Icarus and Foods will be gaming along side me. Foods is nice enough to drive up from his hometown for this (what a guy!).

Now for the important stuff, the Charity. Lately it's been news that the Make-a-wish foundation (http://www.makeawish.org.au) hasn't been doing so well lately in terms of funding. Having recently been a father I couldn't imagine anything worse than my little guy being critically ill, it would devastate me, and I'd like to do something to help out this Organisation that brings some happiness back in the lives of these families.

But how do we do it? Simple really. If you have a couple of dollars laying around (PayPal, etc) it would be awesome if we could get some donations happening. Every cent donated will go to the Org, not to me, not to Atomic, I don't want to touch it. It would be wonderful if we could come together as a community and maybe get behind this a bit, we've done it in the past, lets see if we can do it again.

Now for some incentive. Obviously I'll be updating this thread with pics / updates as we go along (we'll see how well my brain is functioning), but that's not enough, that's not ... ATOMIC! So I figured I'd put some figures down here and if we reach certain amounts I'll do the following:


$100 - *suggestions?*
$200 - I'll shave my legs and get ridiculed at training for the next few weeks as a result
$400 - Instead of shaving, I'll get my legs WAXED
$600 - I'll dye my hair Green
$800 - I'll have a cracker covered with 14/10 Chilli Factory Hot Sauce
$1000 - I'll make a video where my Wife can choke me out with a RNC (why so extreme? Because I honestly don't think we'll reach this limit, but if we do ... you guys are on!)


Foods said he'll be up for some of these things, so lets make some suggestions that he'll have to follow through with >:)
