Unlocking help, Lumia 900 Options

Hey hey, good people of Atomic - long time lurker, first time poster....

I just came back from the US with a nice shiny Nokia Lumia 900, which I bought from a Microsoft store (yes, much like the Apple store, only less creepy).

For just $460 outright, I couldn't say 'no'. The smooth talking salesman explained that it was locked to AT&T but since I was purchasing outright, I could find plenty of 'yum cha' type mobile repair stores or even online places to have it unlocked for a small fee. SWEET!

So I get home to Sydney and bugger me if I can actually find ANYONE who can/will unlock it. Various other forums say that AT&T are being asshats and not releasing the codes. Obviously since I have now opened and played with my pretty blue (cyan) toy, I am not likely going to be able to return it.

So now I turn to the experts here on Atomic, in the hope that I can actually use my handheld goodness....

There are a few unlocking sites that will provide you with a code though I don't know how trust worthy they are...
