Xbox Live! must really, really want to bring me back into the fold. I've been getting all sorts of deals popping up lately trying to tempt me to renew my Gold subscription that I allowed to lapse nearly 2 years ago. Today they gave me one I just couldn't resist. This is the gist of what today's offer said:
"Chazzozz, we noticed you haven't renewed your Xbox Live! Gold subscription for a while. Because we'd hate for you to miss out on all the special deals and privileges that Gold subscription members get, we'd like to make you this special offer. Renew your Gold subscription today and pay only $2 for 2 months! Click 'A' for more details."
So, I clicked through and, yep, only two bucks and I get two months of full Gold membership. The only catch is if I don't cancel it before the end of the two months then I'll automatically be billed for monthly renewals at the then-current price.
Sweet. Two months ought to be enough for me to do all the things in Halo: Reach that I've been putting off only because I didn't have Gold. Cancel it a day or two before it runs out and it's only cost me $2. Sign me up!
