G'day Atomicans!

I'm wondering if I can ask your help. It may have even been in a past issue of Atomic that I read about this game.

The game is set in a desert, I believe it may have still been in beta. You start off alone and I'm pretty sure the game was a "dead is dead" game. You start off alone and with no equipment. It's an open worlder where you have to find equipment and weapons, trade, fend off the various bandits and other assorted nasties in the desert, and generally build your self up to a point where you're leading armies, owning businesses and establishing towns.

It had a pretty simple visual style that was almost stick-man-ish, but had a very start artistic vibe that looked pretty neat. For some weird reason I think it had something to do with ninjas. But that might be my tiny mind running wild.

I know that this is a pretty long shot, but does anyone have any suggestions as to what that game might be. Again, from memory it was still actually at the Alpha rather than beta stage, but looked really interesting and I'd be keen to see if it has progressed.

If only I could remember the bloody game!

HELP!

I'm curious about this as well after what you've described. It does sound like a mount and blade game, except for the graphics part.

Definitely not Mount & Blade.

Post apocalyptic setting.

Probably should have mentioned that in the first place!

;-)

It sounds intriguing, I haven't got a clue personally though. Any idea on a time frame?

This sounds very interesting, I read the About page and FAQ page last night, planning on downloading it.

Although I'm not sure whether its an optional pay for game as it is still being made or if you have to pay for it?

Anyway it has me intrigued.

You can pay $10 for it on Desura, and then you never have to pay for it again. It is very much in Alpha. Having DLed it myself, I'd actually consider it to be pre-alpha.

You can also DL a demo version from the site. Maybe give that a go first. Be aware, there's no sound yet.
