I have too, but admittedly I never thought it was TPG's fault but Blizz's.
Lots of people are complaining that id expect are also on Telstra etc.
It seems to happen initially when I log in on occasion but then settles down after a few mins.

I'm with internode and I get lag spikes, I haven't noticed how high they spike though, so not sure if its going to 1500ms or not, but it sure as hell feels like it.

Blame it on Blizz I reckon. I get the same every so often but usually sit around 250ms ping. I'm with Transact.

Traditionally I'd laugh at you for being a gamer on TPG, but I'd have expected their routing to improve since they bought PIPE.

TPG Have been pretty good lately and I had no issues when I was with them for 18 months when I lived in Yarra Glen.
Although having said that, I do have 2 friends with TPG and they do seem to get issues occasionally.

I'm on TPG and have had no issues (with their network, I have with D3), but that could also be the fact I live in Sydney metro.
I get around 18mb/s down and 1mb up. Not great, but about the best ADSL2 can offer.

My TPG's just fine.
They're cheap, but I've gotten a pretty damn good service for the money over the years.

I have had these major spikes. Ive tried using RTL (experience in wow was awesome). Found that i can go into RTL config on there website and change from a US WEST B server to a US West A server. Once ive done that its not so bad.
Looking at the route, its TPG not prioritising that IP for the server. I spoke with TPG and they have openly admitted that htis is there problem and are aware that this issue is not a single user issue. They are currently have the problem with there senior techs to find a solution. I did notice this was the same problem people posted on whirlpool with other ISP's. One ISP wrote back said they prioritised the IP's and now its a solid 200ms, no spikes. Hoping TPG does this soon. Right now i cant play diablo 3 at all its too harsh.
Oh and BTW only reason im with TPG is where i am from the exchange only comcen, telstra, tpg can offer me adsl2 internet. I wont use comcen again, and well telstra is telstra.

Telstra cable, and yes I have had spikes.
Seems okay, but I think inferno is going to be very frustrating with lag.

I stopped playing again today lag is damn woeful the bar is always red in the upper part. It was green earlier but after 3pm it got really bad.

Weird, I've been sitting in the 2-300ms range for the last ~6 hours. On Bigpond BTW.
3pm shenanigans sounds more like local congestion?

Sydney TPG lag is horrible, rubber banding headaches >300 ms.
Obviously not going to try Inferno.
