    [PAC] Camping trip!

:) I don't believe you can camp at Ledge, but it is nice, and there are often places for rent. Been there many times, max of an hour from Joondalup. A little further around towards Lancelin I think there are camping sites without actually being in Lancelin, which is a place I've just never warmed to much. Not likely as I said that we would be able to come along, but, thinking outside the box you could always go to Rotto, nice trip on the ferry, choice of ways to accomodate. It is an oddity I've noticed living in Perth, not really what you would call high population density in WA but geez you have to go a ways to really get away from people and restrictions. Cheers

I just can't do this anymore

So, how about that local weather team :-p Back on topic - has Devere tried getting professional help? From a therapist, counsellor, the cops, a doctor, a psychiatrist, DOCS or any other family service? :) Yes, she has, big thread but if you read a few of her posts she has tried most everyhing. Cheers
  3. :) Bit of a buzz, eh? :) Solo owns tandem though, never done a tandem, wasn't around when I was learning, but have seen the look in the eyes of so many friends who went one step, two step :) Cheers

You're not far from the truth actually... :) Eh, been thrown out of better countries... not with $10k though :) Cheers

:) Sorta like coming in mid-movie, it sorts itself out..... :) I am inclined to believe that Damo could get himself banned in a Bangkok brothel with $10k in his kick, and he would probably agree and find that amusing :) Cheers

Yes, there are quite a few examples of Atomic weirdness with not so hot pic's. I still have nightmares about pasty guys covering their privates with Atomic CD's. Hah you know I missed the atomic nekkid competition? was it really that bad? :) Had its moments, be a new one soon I suspect ;) Cheers

:) I'd agree with that Squids, never known a female Atomican that didn't get hackles at the very mention of the name though...... I do tend to trust female intuition.... it's possibly a good but not the only reason why I like you :) BTW, it's snake season, coming for a visit ? :) Eh, long go history, and just one more piece of Atomic wierdness, at least that one came with hot pics :) Cheers

I'm in a bit of financial poo

:) Saying it is one thing, getting names, then writing, with copies to all and sundry, that's another..... :) Cheers

    So I met this girl...

:) So... you got rolled and didn't get ricked.....? :) Taxi drivers luv you later nighters, bet the meter was off and under his breath he was singing " Never gonna let you off, never gonna let you charge, never gonna let you leave, never gonna do DNA, never gonna tell a soul, never gonna say bye bye........." :) Cheers
  11. Hmm, Colin Powell, retired General, former JCS and Security Advisor to Reagan has endorsed Barack Obama for the Presidency.... Powell is a life-long Republican, moderate in stance, and obviously has precious little time for John McCain. When a high profile and well liked member of the opposing party gives you his vote the other guy might just as well stop spending money and go on home.... Cheers

I'm in a bit of financial poo

Never had this happen, but have interceeded on behalf of others a few times.... The situation is very simple: THEY fucked up and over-paid you, you did not fuck up.... They are chasing money that they inadvertently but sloppily paid out, their problem. Do not deny the debt but tell the collector it was not your fault and it will be paid when you have the means, meantime fuck off.... In the early nineties downturn I had myself landed with a debt that was generated by an unscrupulous employee, a major reason I do not have employes anymore. They hounded me for ages, what you cannot do you cannot do, after being as rude to them as they were being to me I finally said ok, what to make it square? It was about a third of the debt, in other words they had bought it cheap. Sent them a cheque, nearly end of story. They did black-mark me on credit, hardly mattered, I have AAA other places, but, gave it a few months and sent a letter asking it to be removed and stating the reasons, it was. Money is always a negotiation, you win by keeping the high ground. I am sincerely hoping that D&B fall over in the current financial melt-down and that they get their successors chasing them, I'm also appalled at government assistance agencies selling debt, but, it's a cynical world. Get a job, any job, and grow it back asap, it all goes away, plenty of life to fix it in :) Cheers

I just can't do this anymore

Hmm.... Actually it was me that suggested Dev would not find it easy to leave Esperance, for the pragmatic reasons of income and lifestyle that do outweigh the the situation, especially as I somewhat doubt it would make any difference whatsoever. I do have a question for Hyper Horse... Apart from being a rather rude, abrupt and judgemental person, do you actually have ANY experience in being a parent? Please say no or we all need to light candles for your offspring and that might cause climate change..... Cheers

To clarify, I was being a bit of a wisearse there, I didn't mean to sound bratty about it :P Cheers for the correction though, it's probably one of my most common mistakes and I've got to break the habit somehow. :) Well, well, well, wondering where I was in Oct 2003, certainly not in that thread because it would have changed my opinion of the lady rather strongly. (I think I was doing something in Europe, cannot remember.....) Interesting.... In the few convos I had with her she was fine, seems she might have had an issue with other women, not the first..... Cheers

    Long gone.

:) I do not think there was ever any doubt it was her pics, and not just the ones she put in the comp, there were many more found on line. She attended a Brisbane meet and looked, from those pics, much the same. Personally I never really had a problem with her, but it was a highly charged political situation. I did hear not long after her banning that she had left IT and sorta lost interest but cannot confirm that. Cheers

Well, that should lock it up for Obama

I suppose it depends on which poll you trust, some already had Obama in double digits before Powell made his announcement. I'm inclined to the belief that the Bradley effect has been severely diluted over time and that there were other reasons why he was not succesful, after all he had served 20 years as Mayor of LA and made some unpopular decisions that could well have led to a "reverse Bradley effect," not wanting to say you would not vote for a black person but actually voting against his track record in office at city level when reflected into a Governor's role. I'm always a bit wary of Berkley anyway, what's the saying? "two things have come out of Berkley, Unix and LSD and we do not believe that is a coincidence...." ;) Kissinger has lots of things in his record that can make him unpopular, what he doesn't have is the taint of corruption, which those quotes rather reinforce, he has always told it like it is, including the steps politicians sometimes find themselves having to make even if they are actually illegal. A very pragmatic man, but also very visionary, not always in the best of ways, but, when all gloves were off during Watergate he was the one who came out unblemished. Cheers

    "Be Prepared"!

Hmm, There's a sense with scouting that in reality time has passed it by. It came of a sort of pre-military concept, which was fine at the turn of the last century, but, all the uniforms and such are not something most youth today wants to get into. There are certainly plenty of good things about it, but it needs an overhaul, perhaps this is the beginning of that. Cheers

    "Be Prepared"!

:) About 14 I guess Tick, nothing actually happened, just cuddling, but I was ready to get away from the Scouts anyway, it will be the next organisation to be mired in paedophilia, believe me... Cheers

    "Be Prepared"!

;) I was actually asked to leave the Scouts, after being caught in a sleeping bag with a Guide..... Sounds like times have moved on, condoms and knot skills, everything a growing boy needs ;) Cheers
