    Battery mowers

I have a tiny yard, and doing it regularly means my Ozito 2x18V mower never gets stressed (usually enough battery left to do the edges with the whipper snipper and blow the driveway with the blower.) I don't tend to catch the grass, but the catcher is fully plastic. I have a pair of 5000mAh batteries and a pair of fast chargers.

    The coronavirus conspiracy

Coles are still making customers bag their own groceries. It's awesome when you have a full trolley of groceries, and they start piling the groceries on the end of the counter until you have the trolley emptied then you can go to the other end and start bagging everything, and then everyone is standing around waiting while you bag stuff.

I certainly haven’t been here for the entire journey, but it’s definitely a huge part of my life. thank you Ben for everything you’ve done, and be sure to hang out with us on Discord some time,

    The coronavirus conspiracy

Spreading virus through droplets is a complex thing to map out, so social distancing says 1.5m is a minimum distance to keep. it's not 100% safe, the virus doesn't respect this distance. there are a thousand other variables, such as wind or lack-of, surfaces, the direction people are facing, whether they cough or sneeze, are they wearing a mask? The app certainly doesn't take any of this into account, but the more time you are near a contagious person, the higher the risk of infection due to many of these variables.

    The coronavirus conspiracy

According to my union, the Premier has no ability to curtail these hard-fought for increases (which are belittled by the politician's pay rises) And to be honest, it would be incredibly petty if she fought to block them (I've gone 5 years without any significant pay increase already)

New forum issues/features here (Atomic πi)

I'm trying change my signature, but it's saying I'm limited to 4 lines, but I clearly have more than 4 lines at the moment. umm... I'm just trying to replace the last three lines with different 3 lines.

How is COVID 19 affecting you?

Just as the cases were jacking up, I got sick, I don't believe it was covid-19, as I hadn't been overseas or in contact with a known carrier. and I couldn't be tested anyway. I work in (QLD) schools, and (QLD) schools have never been closed, so my job has continued as before. Mostly the biggest impact to me has been church closure and grocery shortages, which generally means I've spent a lot more time at home driving myself mad and watching all the netflix. I have been getting my monday night pizza from my local non-chain pizza store. I think that even though pizza is not essential, it's important to support local business. (that's my excuse!!)

The only reason I installed the App is because I anticipate the second wave, and I want to be personally ready

    The coronavirus conspiracy

Hoping our governments, hospitals and pharmaceutical companies are taking advantage of the lull to stock up on supplies and equipment, especially if the second wave is going to be worse.

    The coronavirus conspiracy

WiFi Calling should only be active if your 4G signal is craphouse. So, who's planning for the second wave already? A lot of people are acting like we're not in the eye of the cyclone right now.

    The coronavirus conspiracy

I've had a few days of work in self-isolation due to a cold/fever Not coronavirus, and couldn't get tested for it anyway. I just had to jump through a few hoops to see a GP about a medical certificate for work. Still have a lingering cough today back at work, but I think I can manage it. Spent way too much time watching the news over the past few days. i work in schools, which apparently, is the safest place to be in a global pandemic according to ScoMo. I need to go shopping this afternoon, and I don't like my chances of being able to get my regular stuff (bread/milk/eggs etc)

I went to buy some macaroni yesterday, as there was plenty on Saturday, but it was all gone now. Plenty of Lasagna sheets though. also... $1,000 would buy a lot of TP Mitt Romney just unveiled a plan to send every American adult a $1,000 check during the coronavirus outbreak
