Nearly killed you? I thought you were a synthetic editing/gaming machine that need not sleep nor make mistakes! No, please don't let it be so...... Hawkeye is only human! NOOOOOOOOOO! It's all good now, I just used some liquid paper and changed the eight to a nine. So if you read it whilst squinting and riding a horse it's perfect! :-P

Ummm....I'm not sure if this has been mentioned but is it just my copy or do all issue 139's have 138 on the spine? I'm tipping it's all copies.
  4. I know a bit rude isn't it nes You could drive your car up onto it and change a tyre. Now that's worth something isn't it? ;-P
  5. Here is an unboxing for those interested...... http://www.youtube.com/user/LinusTechTips#p/u/8/LiaQD0AAMnk The guy in the video gets a little annoying and cant count! At first he says there are two 8pin power connectors and later on he states there are 4? When in fact there are 3! What the? Anyway this puppy is about 15 to 20mm longer and a good 25 to 30mm higher than a HD6990!!! It also requires the installation “PCIe Sustainers” which are spacers that adhere to the bottom of the card and rest upon the adjacent expansion slots to ensure that it sits perfectly to avoid putting too much stress on the PCIexpress x16 Slot. Full updated review in my original post..... Man, That's a huge bitch!!
  6. Yes, I did think that myself. It will have trouble scaling across 3 monitors wouldn't it?
  7. I believe it's 1.5GB per core
  8. I'm not surprised as they only released 1000 worldwide so congratulations on your new acquisition. It's sure to gobble up anything you throw at it and be left wanting more :-)
  9. Was just browsing the net and found this baby at PCcasegear http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_p...oducts_id=18208 And reviewed here: http://hothardware.com/Reviews/ASUS-MARS-I...One-PCB/?page=1 And unboxed here: http://www.youtube.com/user/LinusTechTips#p/u/8/LiaQD0AAMnk And some pics here from the above review: http://hothardware.com/image_popup.aspx?ar...i-4.jpg&t=a Which is sold out BTW? What the? You could build an entire beefy box for that money.... that's crazy Anyway I'm sure the walls of someone's box somewhere in Australia are collapsing in on themselves powering this heavyweight :-) trojan

Going from toms tests I'd have to agree. Xfire is scaling very well, even above SLI. Good news for AMD's dual GPU card when it comes I guess. And weekly CCC profile updates will be nice. That is good news I may have to consider Xfire for my next upgrade :-)

what do you mean? as in they had loads of hype surrounding them and didnt deliever in what people wanted. Stop gap or interim cards or when the natives get restless throw 'em a bone ;-)
