    i see dead people

RIP - he was a huge influence. The list has such names as Elton John, Mick Jagger, Bob Dylan and Brian Johnson (and ACDC in general)

    What's on your mind?

No it isn't. Take a computer shop analogy then. You did a recent build ,no? Is it justified that the likes of MSY and PCCasegear are putting the sole outlet computer shops out of business because they offer similar margins to the chemist chains you're so keen on dissing? Or is the whole argument moot because the sole outlet chemists should be a protected species because existing in every suburb is some sort of necessity because some people can't travel far?

    The coronavirus conspiracy

We've got our own homegrown 5G conspiracy whack-jobs now, making up some of the protestors in Melbourne. I was out and about a bit today. The feel I get is people are starting to just not bother. Queues at the checkout and getting bread at Baker's Delight, they do the distancing but just about everywhere else it seems not. And there was some woman at the entrance of a local trying to hand out copies of the Epoch Times. Then look at the graph. Headed upwards again and above 1.0 for the last several days.

    Post Apocolypse ( coronavirus )

And the doors usually have a big spring on the bastards, so the single finger pull isn't an option.

    Post Apocolypse ( coronavirus )

In almost all cases the pull requirement is when you're "clean" and leaving. And those stupid "blade" type air blowers where you put your hands between the 2 blowers... I should think that's just asking for someone elses liquid contamination to be deposited on your hands given the way you have to use them.

    Post Apocolypse ( coronavirus )

There's a few around here where you can wash hands and get soap and dry hands without touching anything but then they go fuck it all up in that you still have doors to operate.

My leg and the last 2 months

Made no difference to the outdoor pools here - they close (IMO too early) usually around the middle of March. Indoor pools I guess are closed but I generally don't bother with either. Went to a pool once last summer and that was the first time in years. People were still windsurfing about a week ago (in wet suits). The rivers & lakes I think would be at the point of hypothermia in 30 minutes by now.

    Project Binky

A new video - but ... This is part of the International Quarantine Car Show that was organised by Deboss Garage. https://debossgarage.com/iqcs2020/enginuity Bad Obsession Motorsport are judges along with 5 other YouTube channels (including The Skid Factory). Each other channel performs judging on one category. Some of the videos are on the above website but not yet listed Youtube videos on their hosted channels. Deboss has a playlist with videos from entrants and judges https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLXV9vzJwgYOyGaZlD89VfA/playlists But it's 400+ videos. I've not really been keeping up with it at all. But you could probably get an overview by watching the relevant "videos" on the Deboss YT page (there's only a few), as well as browsing through their IQCS pages.

    Got myself a flu shot

Yep, know a few who've got/had it. Not nice is an understatement.

Golden staff? Hang around long enough and you might pick up one of those.

    What's on your mind?

Predatory pricing? So, CW and PL put margins similar to what a Coles might have, then run of the mill pharmacies put margins you'd expect from an outback service station, and there's something unjustified about the lower ones?

    What's on your mind?

Mine was Priceline which isn't exactly mega cheap and was $20 also. From memory that's the second time I've used a pharmacy and both times was in and out in under 15 minutes easily. I'd have happily paid $5 more than a clinic or doctor's surgery given the runaround you'll encounter at those. As for CW undercutting competitors, I don't much care. Seems to me every pharmacy you see has a 5 or 7 series BMW partked out the back. Look at the margin between items at cheapest vs most expensive and you realise it's practically a licence to print money.

"A limit" as in how many employees per business.

    Got myself a flu shot

Maybe get the next one in the schlong ?

    The coronavirus conspiracy

A bit generous - not sure if there's a limit of how many employees get it. I suppose $750 for someone continuing to work is better than $280 or whatever on someone who isn't.

    The coronavirus conspiracy

Almost half our workforce is effectively on welfare now, given the uptake of JobKeeper. Sort of wonder, are they being a bit generous with it? Though I'm getting some extra and not complaining about that.

    The coronavirus conspiracy

$3 test kit (or whatever the cheapness) - the logical process is it's designed to be more likely to generate false positives and the procedure you'd use is to run the $30 test once you have the first positive. Sort of like the breathalysers - the roadside ones are one up on the $50 ones Joe Public can buy and neither admissable as evidence which is why they put you on the $3000 one if the first test goes over.

How is COVID 19 affecting you?

IMO you could put one of those plastic chunders in the microwave and end up with a better meal than Dominoes.

    The coronavirus conspiracy

So? Plenty of basic tests are just simple chemical reactions or processes that change the electrical characteristics of the test material. Entirely possible you could get a false positive to a drug test kit from a pawpaw as well.

    The latest project

It would seem the options in the day were 144, 170, 200. AKA 2.3, 2.8, 3.3 litre. Not sure how far removed that 3.3 was from the one that was in the XB until 1976. Before the mid 60s they generally had no syncro on some/all gears and the engines had less crankshaft bearings and were usually not real well balanced. Hold the phone... seems Ford did have a 188 (3.1) but that wasn't until the XT in 1968, discontinued after the XW.

    What's on your mind?

Prime suspect would have to be that patronising bloke from the shop the other day, wouldn'it it ?

    What's on your mind?

Yeah, I played the emulated Hurricane and it's not in the same league. Multiball but who cares. Used to play Space Shuttle a lot, that's a good one too.

    The coronavirus conspiracy

I bet a lot of it comes down to shonky workplace hygene practices. But by the time anything's done it'll be too late.
