    Grand Theft Auto V

Another awesome game that I was looking forward to is maybe not coming to PC. I wanted Red Dead Redemption on PC, but alas it was for the console, so I havent bothered trying it. Well I guess I can scratch one game off my list for future playing.

Some suggestions: - For Snipers unless they got snap shot is that they move into cover without dashing and then bunkering if nothing to do. - For everything else move without dashing near a cover even if its small and put overwatch. - Dont rush unless you got 2 ppl at least on overwatch to watch your troops. - Always try to position in cover with overwatch cause it gives you the best chance to survive. I find that Snipers with Snap shot > Squad shot because Snap shot allows me to move into position and shoot even with -20 aim. Squad shot works on certain maps where if you get the sniper on the highest ledge it can rain down from anyone on the map basically. But I never got squad shot working properly.

If you are trying to do an ARC and fail i believe it remembers your action so if you reload the game to do something and ARC that alien again it will automatically fail. Which makes sense because if you could reload all the times you have to kill someone and eventually succeed you could easily win the game on the hardest difficulty reloading your quick save game over and over making the game a tad easy. You gotta accept sometimes you cant ARC and that cant be helped even if its the main objective, if capturing was so simple then you could gotten plasma guns and such already outfitted and like destroy everything.

Some thoughts: - Flanking is possible I usually flank with my snipers on either side and getting the assault and heavies to go up front with some cover. - Of course Sniper flanking works if they are 8 or more squares away from the enemy because they miss often when that happens. Also getting snapshot is better because it allows me to get to a position and fire rather than move to a position and go in full defensive mode. - Start of game requires QUICKLY get Power Stations and Satellites, once you get all the satellites then go for engineering and 1 scientist place. - Shotgun is good at plasma or higher. Otherwise AR is better that I find. - Seems that I prioritize for Alien abduction based on panic rating rather than what bonuses I get :(. Good game though but I restarted alot to work out how to play it properly.

Put your pvp gear in the PVP lockers in the pvp area There is a PvP Locker, really? Is there a PvE Locker or are they shared? Then I'd be happy then. Sorta. PvP DPS Guardian is actually more of a controller than a DPS type, but I can dish out 10k damage sometimes which is impressive but I end up being too squishy to survive sometimes. I feel that +healing is useless and the best stats are +power +vitality and +toughness.. for me.

As a level 80, The problem I have now is that i need to gear up properly for dungeon and have it separate for pvp meaning I'll need to carry at least 2 to 3 pairs of gear and weapons in my bag when I do stuff. THAT alone is annoying..... I am wearing my farming gear at the moment, but I'll need to start making me some tank set and a support set, I found out that healing set is useless and not really helpful whatsoever, because of how little bonus heals you get. So meh, tanking for me. :(.

Looks like the SM CM exploit is fixed haha. But there is another way to level up through crafting it seems super fast. Not sure if that was meant for it, I went from 225 to 300 as I saved enough mats to build up my armorsmithing and somehow level from 75 to 80 last night... Not sure if that was intended or not, but sure seems Arena.Net is doing some random things :\.

Borderlands 2: Get your co-op on thread

I'm up for Co-Op. I can microphone but I prefer not to, but if that is cool. You can add me as ScissorPaperNuke, but i'm most likely probably 50% play it only on Fridays and maybe on the Weekends if the mood hits me.

Found something interesting. I ran CM multiple times for 4 hours straight on 1 night. This resulting me from being level 58 to level 75..... I gotten about 4 gold for doing this trick..... I lol'd, it'd take me prolly 2 hours more doing that multiple of times to get to 80. But the grind is annoying. And I'm sorta undergeared (sorta)

I was trying to be support with a scepter/flame and mace/shield combo. Problem is that Warriors are forced to "constantly" switch to range as well as the thief. This means that there is no point in Melee and that Melee type classes for PvE should be avoided it sounds like. Dodging and removing conditions is fine, but not when you get 1 shot from their normal attack, and its also hard to tell who is attacking who like suggested cause if their range attack hits you, 9/10 you are most likely going to go down on the 1st or 2nd attack.

The OTHER problem is the reward dont match the difficulty. You get crappy gear most of the time. And with running one of the paths you get at max about 30 to 40 which is NOT enough to get 1 piece. It means you need to run it several times to get it (at this point you'll out level it I guess). So as you said its for farming for exotic gear for looks. The worse part of the thing of the Explorer mode was that: - Melee is nigh impossible for Explorer mode, i can tank sometimes, but when they throw in a stun and a big hit from multiple sources then its hard to dodge in melee. Worse is that say for some of the mobs you face have massive AoE that can do huge amount of damage and although I can block one, I cannot block or dodge alot of them that happen constantly which makes it doubly worse. - Hard to work out sometimes in the thick of battle who is aggro'd and hard to peel aggro off a player thats trying to run, especially if its melee because he is just focusing on running. - Range is king, seems that for all my Explorer runs so far successfully after spending 50 silver and 4 hours to complete it that Range is your best bet. - Its not as fun as people suggest, its too much on the screen to deal with. Its like a WvWvW sometimes where its just a zerg fest of mobs coming at your ass and no matter how many CC"s you got you're still going to be fucked royally. Yes I do enjoy the mechanics of GW2, but without any way to control the flow of incoming mobs its just going to be a portal run back from being dead. That isn't exactly fun is it? Especially my repair bill as a guardian which was like 50 silver so we were forced to run CM Story like 3 times to recoup our losses.. YAY REALLY? EDIT: I'll most likely avoid Dungeons until max level with decent gear, cause its been the only "unfun" thing to do on GW2.

What I hate GW2 is the Explorer Mode. Its near impossible, and the elites hit way too hard that I get 2 shotted even if its a normal attack, I was in full tank healing gear. And I got snapped like a twig. Not sure if it was meant for level 80's to do it cause its hard as hell. And its nothing to do with co-ordination unless running back and spending 50 silver in a Explorer mode is the way to go, although I completed some Explorer modes the fact that we spent 4 hours on it was just crazy. Story Mode was nearly the same but sort of manageable with decent gear. Overall, this is turning off ALOT of PvE players in GW2.

I agree with the crafting, but the hearts is ok, better than having a log, running from point A to B and doing shit where you just stay within the area to do the quest. As for the PvP for looks rewards, thats the IDEA. Funnily enough in WoW and in "SWTOR" people complain about the gear grind and should be just skill. Now with GW2 doing that, I figured 99.999% of PvPers from these games would run to GW2 forever ignoring those games because its about skill not gear grind. What happened? SWTOR population is coming back and telling us to implement what GW2 does for PvP, but if you think the system is great why come back to the game you disliked with the grind system!?>!?!??!? Why even come back!?!?!?!?

I tried to 4 man a 5 man instance at level 30 (Ascolonian Dungeon thingy) with level 33-35 characters. The problem is we didnt know how to kite peeps, use KB and see what attacks work and not work on bosses. So we spent about 20 silver working out how to do the instance. It was quite a pain train but we learnt a few things (eg. I was too undergeared as a healer, and when I did it with level 30 green gear well I could actually tank and heal myself :\, but I levelled 3 times since). The biggest gripe right now is the fact that my game is crashing. As for the issue with crafting I had to slow down my levelling in order to keep it in check. Now I'm not struggling as much with resources, but I still need to farm a considerable amount in order to get the items I need to move on. Currently level 38 at the moment, just cruising, if I wanted to rush this I woulda been 80 by my estimates through exploration. But I want to take my sweet time on this.
