    What a joke

You do not speak for all those people, to think you can is part of your problem, many want the hate to stop on all sides. Anyway, I'm out of this.

    What a joke

History teaches that people full of hate for others continue the cycle of hate, it never ends and is the crux for wars, and disputes that never end. Edit: I'm glad I'm not over there, I couldn't vote for either party.
  4. Only in Canberra......specifically The Lodge. Edit: actually, there were no apes in that closing scene as far as I recall.

    Mindless ramblings

Instead of a green thumb, a blue...
  6. Why does it remind me of a closing scene in one of the original planet of the apes movies. No statue of liberty, no gun nut actor. Beach, yes, horse/s yes, lighthouse substituting for liberty. Hmm....OK.

    What a joke

Voters are pawns in the game, to be manipulated via lies and deception resulting in no rewards.............but they live in hope in a hopeless world.

    Mindless ramblings

I can barley handle it here in Bris', couldn't venture further north, and would take my hat off to people like Evelyn (if I had one) tolerating the temp up further. I find it a double edged sword regarding humidity levels, high and it zaps my energy and is so yucky, but when a dry heat that sun when outside bakes me in seconds

    What's on your mind?

Terraforming? Originated in Science-Fiction and is a hypothetical. Got 100,000 years spare? Very long term indeed. https://www.nasa.gov/press-release/goddard/2018/mars-terraforming https://www.science20.com/robert_inventor/trouble_with_terraforming_mars-126407 Edit: I'm like the party pooper lately, I better ease up on the fact repeating crap, and just have some fun.

    What's on your mind?

Yeah, I'm done with wiki due to those popups. To survive on Mars will require either structures with 3m think walls, or go underground, and that's just for protection from radiation, then there are a bunch of other hurdles to any long term stays there. What took us to the moon was the cold war.

    Mindless ramblings

That's why I'm still up, bloody hot an humid, my room is on the wrong side and holds the heat from the afternoon through to around 3.30am.

    What's on your mind?

Beanstalk? hope this is not the space elevator idea, I think it is impractical and will not happen. Happy to be proven wrong.

He should not be a police officer any more

Reading a believing those things written centuries ago do let their minds go, but in a bad way.......the result is stagnation of moving forward and it stifles evolution of effective reasoning. We have put men on the moon, a satellite of this planet, we are yet to put anyone on another planet, and the prospect of such is fleeting as we will not colonize those planets, at best we may have something like the space station but on a very inhospitable rock where the environment is out to kill us. I also have not idea why those sickos did what they did either, but I can only think their reasoning is critically flawed.

    What's on your mind?

Space X is very cool Not sure about a Shuttle, next gen even, what were the running costs again? I guess now that they have made it possible to land and reuse boosters that would cut cost of course.

He should not be a police officer any more

Darwin is old outdated thinking where it comes to some of what he had said. We really need to shed some of the admiration we hold for some of these figures of the past, that is what progressive evolution is, we don't advance as a species in a positive way by holding onto stupid beliefs or ideals.....like the judgmental mindsets of bigotry, racism or misogyny. Or the belief that some fictional sky person put other species on this rock for us to use and abuse in anyway without thought.

He should not be a police officer any more

He's a psychopath, plain and simple.

    What a joke

Two countries that are so similar It's crazy, this is not so often with countries bordering one another in Europe/the EU. You so often seem to view a world of many shades of gray in black n white. Edit: you want to make NATO one of many hats, often that means less effective at any single thing, better that they work within what they do now as effectively as they can.
