    $500 Stereo or comuter speakers?

Currently in Nederland, ive only get the net and my ex-girlfriends ears to test the amp with speakers, and by all means she isnt a tech head.. and i cant buy it when i get back. Traitor! You should be buying Philips there! Call around to the mansion and see my mate Jack Philips while you're there! Lol, Phillips is a big part of Nederland, The whole of Eindhoven was built upon it, It all began with a light bulb company.. thing is, shipping is fucken expensive, and the difference between the price of monitors here and home isnt all that much.. so with an amp and over 100euros to get it to Australia its just no worth it.My trust in Atomic is more than enough for me.

    $500 Stereo or comuter speakers?

i wanna get decent sound from my computer, mainly used for movies music and gaming, but im at a loss what to get a decent set of computer speakers or a reciever with a speaker setup, i thought of getting this http://www.digitalhome.com.au/Tvs_And_Home...aign=buy-button Then adding better speakers each time i get the money, thing is though i know nothing about amps or speakers, so im wondering if this is decent? is it worth getting over a set of $500 computer speakers? in the long run is it gonna cost a lot too run because i would imagine the power consumption to be alot more than normal speakers. can anyone give me advice or help please? Thanks
  6. what makes a good looking pimped car, rims and and lowered springs, i have the same analogy for my case, case feet.. These day, are only on large to midi to full tower cases, usually with a pricetage of over $250, tried some research on buying fixed case feet that pretrude out the side of the case rather than just lifting it higher or antivibration rubber thingys. Does any one have a clue where i can buy some from or any modding guides?, "http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=133" this is my benchmark at the moment and the only ones that remotely resemble what im looking for are tacky LED ones. we all have our own idiosyncrasies, and mine just doesnt happen to be just about the performace of my PC its about the looks and stucture around my PC and feet right now is the main priority, please help.....
  7. Indeed looks like a vey nice case but at an estimated $289USD, i guess its not a suprise with all the features...

    Help With new Rig

I guess thats something i cant wait upon, do some more research and just see what i need more to my needs like u say, its a gaming sound card where im more a movie person. The quality of the speakers is an issue because my plans down the track are to have a home theatre system. To be completely honest i had a case and case modding fetish, But never had the money for a beautuful lian li, like u i agree that lian li and very schmick, so bold, simple and sheek, PC-60 would have to be the best but the full tower PC-70 was what i wanted. im wondering if i could still get one and use it, would that be compatiable with everything? because ive had a look and the PC-70 doesnt seem to sell anymore? With your lian li with the MSI KT266A, Was it Red? did u have a window? If so, you lived one of my fantasys.. I could go on in detail about everyone of those cases but i really would be weirding myself out. But i must say the HAF932 shows iniative, the Cosmos S looks all very futuristic but majority look like finished pieces, i want something to have my own touch, something plain. The silverstone really stands out though. Pcasgear had a good range of lian li's but after looking through there was an acrylic case which is really tearing me apart what to get. and i didnt know u could still get a revised PC-60! Thanks very much with your help. Still its a hard deciosion!

Thanks very much.
  11. Ok so being overseas for more than over a year or 2, and away from this lovely Overclocking and tweaking wold of computers for about 4-5 years ive lost all touch and all my relevant knowledge on building a decent computer, recently decedied to come back home and come but wen i get back I want something to look forward to dcome back to i wanna get back to computers with a possible career change, and the 1st step is a new computer.. My Budget is $1000 for the machine and round $450 for the monitor Im very much a movie and music enthusiast/stoner , theres no day that goes by withought me watching a movie so i guess the monitor is the 1st priority, its hard not remembering all the relavant sites for reviews of computers, tomshardware is the only one i can remember.. but being in eurpope its hard to relate whats here than back home. Im also into games, well something i look forward to get back into. I want to be able to overclock and tweak up, and just fiddle around something that will take me back and reminise of the old times. maybe if i get a decent mobo something i can upgrade in the coming weeks when i get a job. anyways the Resarch that ive dont has given me this conclusion Benq 24" E2400HD I feel this would be the best option due to its 16:9, and that is it full HD and that i love to watch movies ive read reveiws that the G2400WD and the V2400W are basically the same just $60 difference for the case, $60 i feel is nothing if u have to stare at it all day, although the E2400HD is 16:9, is there any other opinions? All priced at Centrecom: E2400HD $413 G2400WD $402 V2400W $460 CPU: Q6600 $238 MSY(read that this is good for overclocking and performance of money wise is a good deal) MOBO: Havent found any really decent info or have any ideas? VID: unsure about that too, Nvidia or ATI, just want full HD and be able to play games at a decent fram rate RAM:4G Kit-800(2x2G) G.Skill $82 MSY SOUND: Creative Audigy Gamer $121 MSY (i didnt do ne research but it was more of a name thing, i had the 1st audigy that came our for about 2 months until it conflicted with the KT266 chipset, but performace wise i was very happy HDD: i was looking at a 640G because of the 2 320G platters, but if i i want a decent machine i can do with my old hdd which is a 250G until i can afford a RAID setup. or will the bottleneck be that bad? CASE: im so anal about my case i had the AOPEN HX08 and nothing will ever compare to it, i really want a full tower! but i dont want all these lights, id rather modify the case than have something so tacky is there anyone some one can recommend? maybe something with feet! but had to be a big case! Maybe a TV tuner card if i can afford it? I have Speakers KB/MOUSE, Windows XP from my old machine but i can get vista later on or just experiment with whats out there. all help is much appreciated. thanks in advance. Vincent
