    Anyone still playing DayZ

    Who be up for a meet on the weekend, I'm normally playing by myself but it gets boring quick. I've just started again on anz private hive, password protected to keep the trolls out. It was very pleasing to walk though electro on a busy night and not see the pile of corpses everywhere.

    Found a bear trap last night, damn those things dangerous! I set it up just inside a doorway of a two story house just to piss off the next poor sucker. As I planted it a winny and ammo just happen to spawn inside the house. Just what my mate needed :/ I had a toolbox so I dismantled it, or so I thought. To my friend it no longer existed, he could move as he pleased. As soon as I tried to move over it, broken legs. A lot of laughing later and 4 morphine sticks, we were off :p You could crawl off into the forest, respawn then loot body. I'd just be careful with that gun, not that it's special but everyone will probably try to take it.

    Checking out pccg today I saw they have the Beyerdynamics DT440 for $149. I'm tempted to buy a pair just for the laptop, just can't decide if I can justify it.

    I followed the flames (they didn't hurt) to a heli crash on the beach on the east side of down with a body next to it. As if someone had crashed it, but I wasn't aware they caused this much chaos. Flames scretched way up into the hill over looking the power house. I was on my way to cherno so I kepted looking back, see it taking over the down. It was quite epic.

    Nice find but I'd never use them. I've never come across ammo for either of those guns. I'm sticking with the good old winny and m1911.

    Anyone near Khelm, north of Berezino by any chance? Zed smashed me though the wall and broke my legs. I could drag myself back to berezino hospital but that'll take forever.

    hmm, my game has been flawless so far. I did read that players are spawn without their gear or with someone else gear but that didn't happen to me. I do agree wit the sound levels when crouch crawling, it's now just as bad as running. Proning is the only way to get by the zeds now.

    Well Since I'm still waiting for the download, here's the updates. HOTFIX : 17 JUNE 2012 Affected addons: * dayz_code 1.7.1.1 * dayz_server (only for server admins) Developer's Note: * Performance issues were associated with loot cleanup not working. This has been fixed. * Each time you start a new character, you will get the gender selection dialog. * INFECTED AND LOOT RESPAWN IS STILL QUITE BUGGED. NEEDS ALOT OF WORK. BUT IT SHOULD BE MANAGEABLE NOW.     In what way are they bugged? Does it still set off the anti-cheat if u get inside it and kill you? I tried downloading the update via the torrent. DON'T, it hasn't been updated yet.

    You'll be fine. I don't know the details but you wont go over around 50mb per hour. That's cause logging off is counted as sleep, you wont die but if you are away for to long you'll need to feed when u get back in. So does that mean if you are gone for really REALLY long. Your character will essentially starve and die? Cause I haven't had the bother to wait and see what happenes if don't ever feed the food and water when the icons on the bottom right continiously flash in red. No, you just come back with the water and food icons flashing red. Make sure you stock up before logging out, easy. Your character will start to panic noises if you leave it too long, then you pass out. I think you can last longer without food then water. FYI, there's a new hotfix out 1.7.1.1, if you get into a server and have no sound and no debug window you'll need to update.
