    Dell U2311H

I'm running a U2311H and I absolutely love it. I havent seen the U2410 though. I havent noticed any problems running games and it is fantastic for movies. harris tech currently has the U2311H for $222.

    $1600 sff build

Thanks for the suggestions nesquick and Dasa! Nesquicks one really looks interesting. What do you think would be the most powerful video card that the 300w psu in the SG05 could run? Wedgie: Why would someone pay ~3.5 times as much for the retail windows so that they can use it in multiple builds? How often do you go through a new build or change your motherboard, once every couple of months?
  3. Hi My brother wants me to put build him a small form factor pc for $1600. It must include a monitor, windows and a keyboard/mouse. He will be using it for gaming and school work. I’ll guess that he’ll overclock. I’m open to any suggestions about parts. What would you guys recommend for a cooler? Note that the cooler cannot exceed 82mm Would it be worthwhile convincing him to spend more money on a better graphics card? TBH I have absolutely no idea what is a good value wireless card. Will probably get it from pccg. Here’s what I was thinking: Silverstone SG02-F Black SFF Case $79 Intel Core i5 2500K $219 Gigabyte GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3 Motherboard $155 G.Skill Ripjaws F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 $95 Corsair HX-650 Power Supply $139 HIS Radeon HD6870 1GB (Reference) $205 Samsung SpinPoint F3 1TB HD103SJ $59 Samsung SH-222AB SATA DVDRW Drive $29 ASUS PCE-N13 802.11 Wireless N PCI-Express Adapter $39 Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit with SP1 OEM $105 Logitech Wireless Desktop MK710 $99 Dell U2311H $299 Total $1522 Thanks

Thanks brissmasI like the R3. Cable management would be alot better if I had a modular power supply. I do think that the cable management if quite good. The rubber grommets come off very easily which is a pain. However, I don't have much that I can compare it to as its only my second pc case.

    Top Gear US

Ok thanks for this. I will definitely try to watch at least some of it.

Ok. In a break between my exams, I swapped my power supply over and tidied up my cables a bit. I will definitely be getting a modular power supply next time!

    Top Gear US

Might be worth watching. How do you rate against the British Top Gear?
  8. That is completely pathetic! I'm not great at all this legal stuff, but what about contacting the ombudsmen? I got the information from here: http://www.tio.com.au/

    Black Ops: Worth it

So far I'm realy enjoying it. However, I have only played modern warefare 1 and parts of MW2 on ps3, so I don't have that much to base it off.

    Don't you love it.

good luck with that. I hope that it causes something to happen!

    Cycling on roads

Yeah. I completely hate that. People opening up car doors are also a bitch!

    Cycling on roads

What is your point? You don't like cyclists i take it?
  14. I'd save $52 and swap the hx-750 with a hx-650. That will run fine with the 6870. I was running mine on my old hx-520. Maybe that money could go towards a bigger ssd. With regards to cases, Fractal R3's are very nice. Have a search on these forums, there are a couple of build logs using them.

I saw so many of them at the world championships in Geelong a couple of months ago. Haha, yeah, my family pretty much figured my dad's $3000 carbon-fibre was his midlife crisis. There are certainly worse ways to have one! I agree, there are many worse ways to spend $3000.
