Just into penis eh? :OHow did you know? Did asking you for photos tip you off? Damn! I need to re-think my strategy!

    Achievements Whores

I don't have a 360, so I'll replace achievements with trophies... but either way, I don't really care about them. I also pay absolutely zero attention to achievements on PC games via Steam and GFWL. I look through the trophy list when I get a new PS3 game, but I never really go out of my way to try and get any of them. If I get one, I get one, if not... then, boo-hoo. It detracts nothing from the game and I couldn't care less about my username 'score', or whatever. I'm not into e-penis.

    L.A. Noire

+1, I'm a PC player first and foremost... but skipping decent games worth your time 'cause they're on a console? That's just silly. There's a number of awesome games that aren't on PC. I have an article to inform, and hopefully rectify such a situation, though: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suicide
  4. The first thing I would have done, is go ask the housemate's boyfriend for help. I'm just going to assume that since he built the computer, he might know how to fix it...

    L.A. Noire

Do EB let you pricematch even if there's pre-order bonues involved? Aside from their standard pre-order bonuses, I have a voucher from the latest Game Informer magazine that grants me a free L.A. Noire t-shirt if I pre-order at EB with it. Not that I'd wear an L.A. Noire shirt. But still curious. $108 is too much... JB Hifi's price is $20 less.

[PC] The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings

From games.on.net! Source: http://games.on.net/article/12463/GOG.com_...ry_IP_Detection GOG.com removes country IP detection. What's this? GOG.com have now entirely removed country IP detection for all purchases made using their service, and whilst not explicitly stated as such, it's a very timely, curious and awesome new implementation ahead of CD Projekt’s hotly-anticipated and price-gouged sequel, The Witcher 2. Basically, you log on, you digitally purchase your game of choice – possibly The Witcher 2, but you know, could be anything – and instead of messing around with VPN or proxies like a dirty hacker, you simply name your country of origin and pay up the amount attributed to it. GOG.com’s Managing Director, Guillaume Rambourg, trusts you implicitly: The change is now live for all purchases and pre-orders, so all you have to do is slip into ‘My Account’ and then go fiddle with ‘Account & Settings’ – voila. I never, ever thought I’d say this, but right now it feels good to be an American.

    L.A. Noire

It definitely looks the goods at the moment, but as always, we'll have to wait 'til we play it to see for ourselves. I can't see Rockstar stamping their name on something that is mediocre, though.

When FPS and RPG combine, I am ...?

Personal definitions aside; FPS = First person shooter. A game with guns, in the first-person viewpoint will always be considered some kind of FPS, regardless of other elements in the game. Such as the recent Fallout games, which reside in the FPS/RPG hybrid category, as it contains elements from each genre. A fairly balanced amount from each genre, too.

    Portal 2

I am very glad about the minimal cake references. I got so fucking sick of hearing "The cake is a lie!" spouted from every second dickhead and their dog over the past few years.

Well the only sex scene screenshots I've seen are of Triss, and I've read there's not random sex with every second girl you run into like the first game. So one in my position would definitely assume it's Triss.

Prostitute? It's Triss. Did you play the first game?!

    The new Mortal Kombat

Not quite... :P One of those copies is for my old housemate!

    The new Mortal Kombat

With an unregistered package (yes, I know, my friend is an idiot for posting unregistered) -- if it leaves (or doesn't leave, if somebody took it before it left the building), am I right to assume they have no idea it even exists, and have absolutely no way to find it? EDIT: Fucking 6:30pm mail delivery? Since when?! Oh well, I am glad they arrived unharmed. Australia Post can stay on my good side... for now! (Dun dun duuuuuuun)

    The new Mortal Kombat

Well, I am starting to think that an Aus Post employee has stolen my two copies of MK. They were sent from Shepparton, 2.5-3 hours north of Melbourne on Friday... and they're still not here (Brunswick, Melbourne). I am raging pretty hard right now. I hope they're just late, and not "missing".

    The new Mortal Kombat

Do you really need a gold account just to get access to DLC? That's a bit whack if you do.

UPDATE WASN'T THERE WHEN I POSTED IT BRO, LOL.

[PC] The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings

Since it's still in the game, and now you get it regardless of if you want to say yes or no... I'll get whatever version, 'cause I'd probably choose yes anyway. Can't deny my game character his virtual pleasure! What kind of host would I be? Though, I may be confused from the Internode article... 'cause it doesn't actually say if it's in the game or not... sort of. I dunno, hanging out on another planet atm. Ignore me. :)

[PC] The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings

Well as far as I know, for the particular thing, it's sex, or no sex. It's also more graphic than Mass Effect and Dragon Age combined. Not sure if I'm allowed to link to screenshots of it here, though?

[PC] The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings

Just saw this on Internode; Overnight, we received word that The Witcher 2 had received an MA15+ rating for "Strong violence, sex scenes, nudity and coarse language". With the game being rated 18+ in the UK, did the developers change anything for the Australian system? We've been in touch with Australian distributors Namco Bandai who can confirm that they did - and here's what it was. Only one thing was changed: Geralt is no longer able to choose to accept sex as a reward for successfully completing a side quest. The idea of receiving sex as a reward was not suitable for inclusion within an MA15+ classification, so Namco Bandai requested that CD Projekt remove the option of choosing to have sex as one of the rewards for that quest. The quest and the character who offers it are still in the game, but presented in a "slightly different context". We are assured that this is the only change made to the Australian version of the game: the rest of the game remains untouched.

Haha, yeah I only turned my PS3 on once to test some cars. Not to worry though, PSN is back this week. :)
