    Building a new gaming Pc.

Im stil unsure which case i should go for but i do like the Lian-Li PC-A70B and the PC-A77B the former i can get for about $300. I want a case with plenty of ventilation and space so it has to be a full tower, I will be using the Noctua U12P SE2 If anyone has any suggestions on a full tower gaming case please let me Know.

    does this look ok

Thats a good score but why dont you try putting the E8500 up to 4.3GHz and up the voltage like raradawg said. It might give a little bit extra,as long as the temps dont get to hot.

    5870 goodies.

Im reading a review right now it sounds pretty good,do you think it is worth an extra $80?

    5870 goodies.

So does that mean that on every other brand of 5870 you cant control the core voltage?

I think i will be going for the Coolermaster HAF-932 . The only thing that i dont like is that there is no dust filters, but hopefully i can improvise and customize something.

    Building a new gaming Pc.

I have bought the P6T v2 Deluxe. Hopefully i will have my machine built within the next 2 weeks. I am just waiting for some other parts to arrive , G.Skill 6GB 1600MHz Trident Sapphire HD5870 G.Skill Falcon 64 GB SSD Corsair HX-850 I think i will go for the Noctua CPU Cooler.
  9. Is there any rumours when one of these might be released?

    Building a new machine.

Do they make those case's in the full tower?

    Building a new machine.

Well your build is pretty much the same as mine so what ever you have listed, is pretty much solid :) Thanks index680i , I look forward to seeing some of your benchmarks. Will you be using it a lot for gaming? $2500 not including monitor? you can get 2 HD5870's into that if you buy a moderate case and mobo. I already have a benQ 24" and plan on getting a coolermaster HAF-932 & asus P6T deluxe .

Actually, its okay with me. Because later on if you upgrade, I can look into your future topics to see what performance gain I get if I upgraded. I got my case just now and my parts should be here tomorrow or wednesday. Your Kit will be very similar to mine.I read the reviews on all the parts and they are highly regarded. The Kit i will be getting is: i7 920 Asus P6T deluxe G.skill 6GB DDR3 Trident Corsair HX 850 G.Skill 64GB Falcon SSD Samsung or Seagate 1TB HDd Sapphire or His HD5870 Windows 7 64bit I am still undecided about the case,i would like to get a full tower because if i was to run crossfire there would be plenty of airflow, and i like the extra room. What do you think of the Coolermaster HAF-932? Here is a review: http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum/hardw...ase-review.html The only thing i dont like is that it has no dust filters, but i suppose i could make some custom ones. I like that it has wheels. It would be very handy to wheel it into my home theater room.

    Sound card vs Onboard sound?

I can confirm that the "PCI EXPRESS" X-FI card contains an ADI AD2000B chip and isn't a true X-FI card. It is just like an X-FI Xtreme Audio card. It will make your cpu work harder as all the X-FI bells and whistles are emulated in software. Steer clear of those add in cards. 'Fancy Pants'?... I don't understand. Do you know anything about the Xonar cards?... They would be even more compatible with games than the X-FI cards are; especially with all the driver issues creative have had. What do you think of the onboard sound on the Asus P6T v2 deluxe?,it uses the ADI AD2000B chip i was thinking of getting this board without a soundcard.
