  1. Hey, firstly I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this topic but I think it may be a problem to do with windows. Anyway the story is.. I was going to watch a youtube video and it came up with the message I needed to get the latest version of flash and make sure JavaScript is enabled. So I did that. Before this youtube videos, flash and JavaScript worked in all browser but now it doesn't... I don't think it is flash that isn't working as flash ads on websites still show up, I think it's JavaScript as many website functions aren't working now. I re-installed all my browsers and so on but still nothing. What can be causing the problem? I have already checked that it isn't an ad blocker or my security settings. I'm so confused and frustrated! Your help will be greatly appreciated.

    Website Feedback.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, using your feedback I have done the following. - Changed the navigation from images to text and CSS. - Added alternative text and title tags to all major images such as the header and page titles. - Fixed up the portfolio page. When it comes to writing your email address I was told not to as I would get spam so I wrote it as goldleafwebdesign AT gmail DOT com - but that doesn't look very professional. Would it be ok to write "Click here to email me" or something like that and just link it to mailto:goldleafwebdesign@gmail.com or will that still set me up for spam? Thanks!

    Website Feedback.

Thanks GTAV6 and orcone. I will fix up the logo smoothness and so you think I should replace the button images with text or just add a alternative text and titles. I'm still learning I'm only 14 and have done web design for the last 2 years.

    Website Feedback.

Hello everyone. I'm posting this new topic to ask for feedback on a website I recently made. This website is for a web design business I have just opened, the URL is http://www.goldleafwebdesign.com.au . The portfolio page and contact page still needs a bit of work done. Any feedback on the website or advice on starting a web design business is greatly appreciated. BTW this is another of my websites: http://www.zeforce.com you might remember it ( http://archive.atomicmpc.com.au/forums.asp...;c=35&t=268 ) it has been totally rebuilt. Thanks!

I have been working with CS3 for the last couple of years and I love it, now I'm saving for the CS4 Master Collection. I've read some reviews and watched some tutorials, from what I've seen It looks pretty awesome. Only time will tell.
  9. I was wondering if anyone has got a name trademarked and can help answer 2 questions. 1. How do you get your business name trademarked? 2. How much does it cost? Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  10. I could help, i'm pretty good at making "sexy" websites. Of course I will charge a little for each website. Oh and i'm not the best coder so if you do want me to help don't expect to much fancy coding. This is a website I made when i was 13: http://www.zeforce.com i'm 15 now so my new websites are better. If you are interested send me a PM and I can give you my MSN.

    ABN help

Hello, Got 2 questions to ask about ABNs, someone might have one and know. 1. How old do you have to be to get an ABN? 2. How much does it cost to get one? and yes I did heaps of research but there is no clear answer.
  13. Just host the file locally on your server, or wherever you want. Good idea, but wouldn't I need a database or something? Does anyone know any other good commenting systems I can just add onto a few php pages?

Where to by the cheapest '.com' domains?

I think I will go with godaddy.com although they aren't much cheaper then the rest. Their website is so confusing :S.
