    What of Atomic?

Well bummer., I hope you guys keep doing what you're doing in your new home :) Will you guys still be doing events like Atomicon and the Monash CGBC Atomic Day?
  4. Hey guys, I haven't really been active on Atomic for a while, but I thought I would post a little screenshot and information thread that I have going on other gaming forums. As some of you guys know, CS:GO is the new game in the Counter Strike Series. I was lucky enough to get a BETA key and they ahve recently updated this BETA. Here are screenshots and some information about the new BETA. Enjoy! UPDATE 2: CHANGELOG. - Some special ones bolded Note: It wont let me link any of my Steam screenshots "You are not allowed to use that image extension on this board. A valid format is: http://www.domain.com/picture.gif, an invalid format is: http://www.domain.com/picture.one.gif" which is a real bummer :( I have them all in this thread though: http://www.gtesports.com.au/community/coun...ng-updates.html so you can check it out there if you wish. If you have any questions on the BETA, let me know and I will answer :)

    Diablo III

Anyone still after BETA Keys? I have a few left that I'm doing give-away comps for.
  6. Hey guys, We have recently done a community mouse testing with the Theron mouse (Which you can currently enter to win on the front page of Atomic) on Overclockers AU and SC2SEA.com. I was just posting here to see if Atomicans would be interested in this opportunity for the future. Maybe a quick show of hands for those who would be interested in sharing their thoughts about a mouse/keyboard/headset that is newly released. Previous 'review' terms: - 2-3 Paragraphs of text outlining your thoughts, testing procedures and other notes on the mouse - A list of pro's and con's - A score out of 10 You can find the results for this at the two links below: http://forums.overclockers.com.au/showthre...82#post14014282 http://www.sc2sea.com/showthread.php?p=62904#post62904 Anyone keen? :)

CS:GO BETA Has been refreshed and updated

    - Makes your weapon more accurate - Makes your weapon silent, to if you are spamming etc. people can't hear were the shots are coming from - Always fire 2-3 bullets at the head rather then 1 :) It only seems to reduce the spread in CSS rather than make the crosshairs close in more like it does in CS 1.6, but I still agree with you. I play with a dot anyway, so not 100% sure :) New CS:GO updates out. New game modes and maps etc. Haven't had a chance to play!
  9. Hey guys! We are in need of some reviews done for our Thermaltake Product (Not Tt eSPORTS). This includes things such as; - Computer Cases - Power Supplies - Laptop Coolers We would love video and text reviews, if you can only do one of the above, don't stop yourself from applying. If you think you have what it takes, send me a PM on these forums with the following information: I will bold this next part so I hope it is read (and stands out well). You MUST have some experience. If you have not reviewed something before, do a review on it (big or small) and post it on these forums, get some feedback and THEN PM me. I need to be sure that the person I am sending my product to is capable of doing a review. Thanks guys! Note: Available to Aus/NZ residents only.

    Requesting reviewers for Thermaltake Product

I didn't know you had a review site. You got Skype/MSN? Hit me up with your contact details and I will talk to you there. Recommend away Mudgey, anyone you recommend can't be too bad in my opinion.

I ask people to be completely honest. Makes me mad as a gamer when people write bias reviews. I wouldn't want people to review a car as awesome, then go driving in it and it be horrible. So even if one review is bias, the people who purchase the mouse will end up outweighing the one review. Fortunately with the last mouse, some people bought it and put up their own thoughts on www.sc2sea.com. The people who purchased the mice agreed with the positive reviews :)

Yeah sounds like a ridiculously fun server......lol

CS:GO BETA Has been refreshed and updated

I has both. I haven't played DOD for so long and DOD:S seems to be quite a small community in Australia. The most populated server always seems to be this server where if you kick some ass they make you run around with a shovel for 6 rounds or they ban you. hahahahah that server! I've heard many things about this server

No, it's been changed to the P2200 or something like that.

    Guage interest: Community Mouse Testers

    - We pre-detemine an amount to give away - Interested people fill in a form that they email in to us (name/address/previous experience/why you should get it etc) - We give you the mouse for free - You do the review to our guidelines and post it in a thread we create - You keep the mouse and do with it what you want The reason it's 'community' testing is that we are giving it out to 'average joe's' in the community that don't necessarily have any review experience, just basic English skills (ability to write a review that people can understand). This shows more of a grass roots level review, rather then just giving it out to top level professional gamers and reviewers who have used 40 different mice in the last week. But of course, we will always give one to Atomic MPC to review first :)

CS:GO BETA Has been refreshed and updated

@Nuke: In short, it's a dumbed down CS:S. And CS:S is a dumbed down 1.6 in reality. So it's just getting worse :( @Squall: Yeah, even in one of my screenshots I say something like "Obvious console post is obvious". You can change your 'viewing distance' or similar from couch to other settings. Now unless they expect you to play CS:GO on your PC from the couch or not... That's another story :P

  24. Hey all, Streaming worldwide is massive at the moment, people like Destiny from SC2 make a living from it and all large tournaments are now streamed online. But, you barely see anything in poor old Aus/NZ. To try and rectify this, I had an idea. Why not use the resources available to me to promote streaming within Australasia? So that's what I'm doing. We started off with a Monday night Tt Underdog Show match in SC2, then started running a Bi-Weekly eSports show on different topics every second Thursday, but I decided to up the ante and get it cranking. The Saturday show is not finalised yet, so if anyone from the community is willing to commit to 4 Saturday shows in a row, please PM me with your idea and we can look at facilitating this! Below you can find what we are looking to stream, on what days, which game and who is running it. Tt eSPORTS twitch.tv stream Monday Tt Underdog Challenge (SC2) – Derek ‘Dox’ Reball (9pm) Starting at 9PM each Monday, upcoming and unknown members from the SC2 community get a chance to take on the best SC2 players to prove their worth in front of an audience. We chose the competitor and if they win, they get a free Challenger Keyboard or ISURUS In-Ear headset. (This is shoutcasted) Tuesday Tuesday night team games (SC2) – Derek ‘Dox’ Reball (9pm) The poor old team format of SC2 is commonly shoved out of the lime light. Dox will be shoutcasting some fun 2v2 matches between good and.. not-so-good players of the SC2 SEA community. Wednesday SQL.LoL show matches (LoL) – SQL LoL team (8pm) Sequentials LoL team have proven themselves to now be the best team in Aus/NZ. They will be streaming live matches against other top Australian and North American teams. Want to know how the best play ingame from their eyes? Check this one out. Every 2nd Thursday Bi-Weekly eSports show (All games) – Chris 'Mayo' Smith and David 'Triumph' Rutter (8:30pm) Due to the lack of easily accessable eSports information in Australia, we have decided to roll it all into one show. Each week encompasses general Aus/NZ eSports topics (new tournaments, events, competition results, new teams etc) and then focuses on one general topic, a competitive game. The first episode saw Mindfreak eSports' 'DluX' join us for a chat about BF3 and how they are preparing for the competition, there will be plenty more video's and lol's to come! Every other Thursday SQL.HoN matches (HoN) – Matt ‘Minortotemzz’ Brimson (8pm) A new edition to the Sequential roster, the HoN team have shown a passion for helping out the community and streaming. They will also be streaming POV HoN games against other top teams with some funny commentating to be thrown in also. Friday SQL.SC2 Practice session (SC2) – Phil ‘inFeZa’ Bertino (8:30pm) Ever wanted to know how the top level SC2 players Practice? How do they learn to produce SCV's whilst harassing an enemy's base? How do they know when to expand to boost their economy? Well, these questions can be answered by watching the stream. The SQL SC2 guys will show you how they hone their skills and get ready for the next big tournaments whilst answering your questions in the stream chat. Saturday Saturday Show Day (All games) - Different hosts each week This is something that is in production, as I mentioned above, if anyone is keen to take this slot of the next 4 weeks, please PM me your idea. (Please be prepared to have all information present and be ready to run the show yourself). The general idea for the Show day is to run a different game's show match each week, where we shout cast 2 top Australian/NZ teams battling it out against each other. Sunday Sunday Night CS:S (CS:S) – Avant Garde In light of my previous 'strat night' thread on GotGames, Avant Garde have kindly stepped in to fill the gap until something is Solidified. They will be running a show like Sequential's SC2 idea. They will be showcasing how a high level Counter Strike: Source team hones their teamwork and strategy live on air in one of their 'prac sessions'. When each show commences, the respective show leaders will take care of the promotion and updates of their show. So please keep checking your major forums for updates. I have listed the most likely portals below and for what game. SC2 - Starcraft 2 SEA - A site for the Starcraft 2 South East Asia Community CS:S - www.gotgames.com.au HoN - Online Games, XBOX, PC, PS3 - CyberGamer Australia LoL - Online Games, XBOX, PC, PS3 - CyberGamer Australia and www.lolaustralia.com.au eSports Show - All of the above Show day - Any or all of the above At this stage, all shows are PC related. I would love to trial a Saturday console show if anyone wants to put up their hand for it :)
