    Graphics card.

The difference in performance from the 390x vs the fury - Does it really make it worth the $200 - 300ish dollar difference in price?

    Pc upgrade

Ok so im keeping my current cpu/mobo/ram. Gonna invest in a radeon fury video card and thinking of going a coolermaster nepton 240cm/coolermaster cm 690 iii case combo. Just checking wether that video card will fit with no hassles, Also if anyone knows of any other mid cases similar to the aforementioned 1 please speak up! Cheers.

    Pc upgrade

My current system is a i7 4770k with aftermarket cooler ( which is loud as hell) using a msi z87-g45 8 gig ram with a ssd/hdd combo gigabyte r9 290 video card cooler master haf x case which is just to big now so will be looking at changing to a mid tower with aio cooling capabilities. Theres been no ocing done to the system at all. I think a cpu/mobo upgrade would prob be a waste at this point as the increase would be very minimal but the video card and case upgrade would be needed.

    Pc upgrade

Howdy all, Have had my current system for a little over 3 years and now looking to upgrade so have come here with a few questions for you all! My budget will be between 1500 - 2000 although closer to the 1500 mark if possible. 1 - Is there much difference between the i5-6600 and i7-6700 for just normal mmorpg gaming? I havent really looked into oc and may dabble but not sure at this point. 2 - Im tossing up between gtx 970 or 390? I did look at the 390x but all reviews say the 390 is by far a better buy price wise etc and isnt far behind the x version in performance? 3 - I greatly liked the corsair 450d case but read it doesnt fit the aio h105 so is there another aio as good as the h105 or shouldi spend a little more and get the 750d case? I have never done watercooling or anything before but as i live in a dam hot part of australia i thought id give an aio a go and see how it pans out. Thats it for now. Cheers!
  5. Howdy all, My new amd build is only a couple months old and up till now everything has been running awesomely. Now out of nowhere im getting random freezes in games. Noctua nh-d14

Howdy all, Just built a FX-8350 system using the noctua nh-d14 cpu cooler and I have it with the fans facing the back of the case. I have a 200mm fan blowing air in from the front and 2 120mm fans on top exhausting air out and the 120mm on back blowing air out and the power supply fan facing downwards. Just finished installing windows 8.1 and did all the setting up - I just tried playing BF4 and the cpu is hitting temps of 67 degrees Celsius as I had asus suite ii installed it was coming up with a big warning sign. Now is this sort of behaviour with this cpu cooler fan and cpu normal or should I be seeing far less temps? My room temp is warm due to the location im in but was hoping I had enough fans in the case to help. Should I try changing the fan formation around? Any help greatly appreciated =)

    Gaming case.

Howdy all, Looking at a new case for a new build so after some recommendations - Mid would be good but if i have to go full tower thats fine. Cooling is probably the biggest point so a few fans included with some room to breathe would be a huge selling point. Probably will spend upto $200 on the case. The system that it will be houseing is - FX-8350 maybe overclocked a little by an aftermarket cooler - Noctua NH-D14 Noctua NH-D14 cpu cooler Gigabyte R9 290 oc ASUS M5A99FX-PRO-R2 Motherboard 750 watt powers upply to be decided on yet Cheers.

    Graphics card

Howdy all, Need help on buying a video card, My current is a GTX 580 the ones im looking at is a GTX 780 oc or R9 290 oc ? My only concern with the R9 is I have read it gets extremely hot and living in Dubbo its always hot here =P All opinions greatly appreciated! I forgot to mention my monitor is only 1920 x 1080 resolution.

    Upgrade time!

It wouldn't be better to do a i7 - would that make it more future proof (no upgrading for 3+ years). I have an XFX 750 watt modular psu so im covered there im hoping =)

    Upgrade time!

Nah just after a cpu/mobo/ram/video card upgrade. My 2500 is a non k version so no overclocking of it. So you reckon just replace my GTX 580 and that will make a huge difference? As the old bits in my pc will be used to upgrades the wifes pc aswell so id really like to look at upgrading my bits so it kills 2 birds with the 1 stone =)

    Upgrade time!

Yeah the bits I have are still running good but the missus pc is getting old and is in need of an upgrade so my old 2500 etc will work nicely for her. Monitor is a Benq 24 inch with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. Any opinions/help is greatly appreciated =)

    Upgrade time!

Howdy all, My current system is a i5 2500 non k with 8 gig of ram and a GeForce gtx 580. Its about 3 years old and im looking at upgrading to play the latest games etc - fps/mmo/rpg/action, What I want to replace is the mobo/cpu/ram/video card as my old bits will be used to upgrade the wifes pc. Just after some upgrade ideas for a budget of 1000 - 1300ish? I have been looking at the AMD cpus and would love some opinions regarding there cpus as I haven't used any for many years. Cheers all!
