i don't think i've ever seen it get so DEEP!

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

I was looking through some audio accessories on an online store today and i found this:

Using this could you plug two audio systems into the one sound card? Like i know you would need three if you were to plug in two surround systems because they have the 3 analog cables... but is this possible?

and if it is... could you put these splitter cables into eachother to run like 4 sound systems through the one output? is there a disadvantage to doing this or anything?

Thanks! :)

Should be able to get two outputs out of the one with that, but the more times you split it the more you are going to have output level problems and possibly noise problems.

If you want to switch between multiple outputs you are better off with a switch box of some description, like the ones Jaycar have.

Having said that, it's a cheap way to run headphones + stereo system without messing around too much. Just ensure the stereo is turned OFF before turning up the volume during "me time".
