Impressions of WALL·E

Recommended Posts

What sucked is the kids (who should have been at school) were fucking around in the movie and annoyed me for the entire duration.

Throw popcorn at them.

I don't know, which is better?

I actually don't really know.

Is someone competing to get my "not a hollow message" award?

Not me - I'm just disagreeing because it's fun (-:

That's part of what they were doing, I wasn't going to join in.

They shut up mostly by the second half though.

I thought it was excellent, and it looked amazing.

I am not going to see this movie based on the presumption what this 'Wall-e' character is a cheap rip-off of Number 5 from Short Circuit.

Number five is ALIIIIIVE

I did see that all over in the film, but this is so much better.

Yeah, but being 10am on a thursday, kids should be at school.

And it was either Wall-E, Space Chimps (which in hindsight I should have seen, being that it was in the good new cinemas, instead of the shit old ones, and has Patrick Warburton in it), or that 'Angus, Thongs and a whole nother sentence worth of crap' movie that I wouldn't see in a million years. And I'd heard good things about Wall-E (they were right)

I'm putting off seeing this one, because I always cry in movies and I reckon this one will be a gusher.

Yeah, you were blubbering like a baby at The Dark Knight ;P

Robots in love didn't do it for me.

When I say all the people really fat and laying back in hover chairs I thought - yeah that's probably what the future for humans will be like (not just because of the loss of bone density when you are in space.
