Best Soundcard!

Oh i kinda understand now. Oh and does anyone here have the Z5500D system, im extremly considering it right now. Even though i would rather not have logitech speaker :P

You get Xonar D2X and Z5500's now.

Xonar D2X goes in your computer.

Connect the Z5500's to Xonar D2X using the three Analogue Stereo Connectors. Do not use Optical or Coaxial.

 

It cannot be put any more simply.

 

YES!!! You Win!!. Finally we can end this horrible horrible escuse for a thread.

The DACs on the sound card are better than the DACs in the Z5500 receiver.

So you get better sound quality by converting on the sound card, not the speakers.

Just do what Barry says.............you know you want to.

how about pci-e cards with a good set speakers?

is there much different? and why are they so expensive

The PCI Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio Retail is 15 bucks cheaper than the Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio PCI-E Retail.

 

You always pay a premium for the new tech.

 

Having said that........sub $60 for that sort of quality is still a bargain.
